Best Fling Alternatives in 2026 (Honest Picks)
The best sites like Fling in 2026 are AdultFriendFinder if you want the same explicit, video-heavy hookup site with a bigger crowd, Pure if you want to stay anonymous, and Feeld if you are a couple or open-minded single. Tinder and HUD give you more people nearby, BeNaughty is the closest site-style copy on a subscription, and Ashley Madison is the pick if what you really wanted was discretion.
Below: the Fling alternatives side by side, why people leave Fling (some of it is in Fling’s own terms), how to cancel without a surprise renewal, and the safety basics that matter on any hookup site. Prices checked October 2026.

What Fling is today
Fling.com is a casual, adult dating site that has been running for “almost 2 decades”, per its About page. The homepage sells it as the dating site “for the curious”: a swipe-style Mutual Match game, direct messages with photo and video sharing, public video chat rooms, cam2cam and a tipping feature. It is operated from Miami Beach, Florida, and it says it has 2,333,951 verified photos.
In my Fling review I rated it 3 out of 5: free accounts can browse and play the match game, but you need credits to actually talk to anyone. One thing has changed since: Fling’s app page now links to both the App Store and Google Play, so it is no longer iPhone only. On the App Store, the Fling app is published by Dime Systems, LLC, rated 18+, and has 4.5 stars from 723 ratings (October 2026).
Why people leave Fling
The lists ranking for this search mostly skip the question. Fling’s own terms of use answer a good part of it, and they are worth knowing before you pick a replacement, because many hookup sites work the same way.
- The member count is not the active crowd. Fling’s app page says it welcomes “over 49+ million members from the US”. The terms explain that any member estimate includes every free and paid account created since the site started, because Fling does not purge inactive accounts. So the number tells you nothing about who is online near you tonight.
- Some messages are automated. The terms describe a “While You Were Away” automated message and response program and automated “Icebreakers” sent to members who share an interest. You can change the first in your settings. Either way, a full inbox on day one is not proof of real interest.
- Talking costs credits. In my Fling review I found the free tier is for looking, not chatting. On the App Store listing, credit packs run from 30 credits for $9.95 to 600 credits for $99.99, and the terms also describe memberships that renew. Sources do not line up on one clear price list, which on its own frustrates people.
- Complaints about bots. Several App Store reviews describe profiles and messages they believe are bots meant to make you spend, and one describes an account shut down after sending verification photos. Fling’s terms say the site does not create profiles itself. Treat both as claims, and judge any alternative by its verification tools.
The upshot: if you leave Fling, look for a crowd that is active where you live, real verification, and pricing you can read before you pay. That is how I ranked the picks below.
Pick by what you used Fling for
Fling mixes several things: explicit profiles, live video, anonymity and casual dating. No single site does all of them best, so start from the part you actually used.

- If you liked the explicit profiles and live video: AdultFriendFinder.
- If you wanted to stay anonymous: Pure.
- If you are a couple, kinky or curious: Feeld.
- If Fling felt empty where you live: Tinder for volume, HUD for a hookup-only app.
- If you liked Fling’s simple site and search but want a subscription instead of credits: BeNaughty.
- If you are married or need total discretion: Ashley Madison.
1. AdultFriendFinder: the closest match to Fling
AdultFriendFinder is what Fling looks like at a larger scale: explicit profiles, live chat, member forums and a crowd that is there for sex, not romance. My AdultFriendFinder review rates it 3.8 out of 5 and lists Standard at about $19.95 a month and Gold at about $39.95, with joining, browsing and the forums free. Its homepage only shows prices after you register (checked October 2026). You can find it at AdultFriendFinder.
Who it suits: adults in a big city who liked Fling’s explicit side and are willing to pay a monthly plan instead of buying credits. The catch: free accounts draw bots, plans auto-renew, and you cannot message without paying. Use a separate email and keep your face out of public photos.
2. Pure: best for staying anonymous
Pure works like a personal ad on your phone: you post what you want, people reply, and nothing sticks around. Its App Store listing says photos self-destruct right after being seen, you get notified if someone takes a screenshot, and chat media cannot be saved to the phone’s gallery. It has 4.3 stars from about 87K ratings; Pure Membership costs $13.49 a week or $29.99 a month, renews automatically, and must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends (October 2026). A subscription is required to chat.
I rated it 3.5 out of 5 in my Pure review. Who it suits: people who want casual meetups without a lasting profile or chat history. The catch: the weekly price adds up fast, and outside big cities there may be few people near you. It is at pure.app.
3. Feeld: best for couples and open-minded singles
If you used Fling as a couple or to explore, Feeld is built for that and has a far more modern crowd. On the App Store it has 4.3 stars from 102K ratings and offers 20+ gender identities and 20+ sexualities; Majestic Membership costs $29.99 for 30 days, $49.99 for 90 days or $149.99 for a year (October 2026). Majestic adds seeing who liked you, private photos shown only to your connections and one free Ping a day.
I rated it 4 out of 5 in my Feeld review. Who it suits: couples, queer and kinky people, and singles who want honesty about what they are after. The catch: it is app-only, and mutual likes come before chat, so it is slower than browsing and messaging on a site. Find it at feeld.co.
4. Tinder: best for more people nearby
The most common complaint about smaller hookup sites is that nobody nearby answers. Tinder fixes that by sheer size: 4.2 stars from 1.8M ratings on the App Store, where Tinder Plus is listed at $9.99 and Tinder Gold from $13.99 to $24.99 (October 2026). Swiping, matching and chatting are free, and the listing says Tinder offers several ways to verify profiles and a way to share your date plans with a friend.
I rated it 4 out of 5 in my Tinder review. Who it suits: anyone who wants casual dating with real, verified people and does not need explicit content. The catch: people use it for everything from hookups to marriage, so say what you want in your bio. My best dating apps for casual dating ranking compares it with Hinge, Bumble and the other casual apps.
5. HUD: best hookup-only app
HUD is an app made only for casual dating, which makes it the closest app-store equivalent to Fling. Its App Store listing shows 4.1 stars from 208K ratings and lists Live Video Verification, a photo protection blur and video dating with an auto blur. In-app purchases run from 1 Week Premium at $14.99 to a 1 Month Diamond Membership at $49.99 (October 2026).
I rated it 3 out of 5 in my HUD review. Who it suits: people who want a phone-first hookup app with some identity checks. The catch: the useful features sit behind paid tiers, and it is app only. It is at hudapp.com.
6. BeNaughty: a Fling-style site on a subscription
BeNaughty looks and feels like Fling: a casual site with a search-first layout, flirts and a match game. The difference is the billing. My BeNaughty review found a short trial of about $2.99 to $4.99 that turns into a full monthly plan of around $49.99 unless you cancel at least 72 hours before renewal. Its homepage only shows prices after sign-up (checked October 2026). Safe Mode filters your inbox to vetted profiles.
BeNaughty gets 3 out of 5 in that review. Who it suits: people who liked Fling’s site but want flat pricing instead of credits. The catch: fake and spam profiles are common, and that trial is easy to forget. Set a reminder the day you pay.
7. Ashley Madison: best for discretion
Plenty of Fling users want privacy above all. Ashley Madison is built for that. On the App Store it has 4.0 stars from about 79K ratings and lists private photo masking, a Stealth Mode for low-profile notifications on iOS and discreet billing that shows as “AMDA” on your statement. It sells credits, from a 50-credit promo at $14.99 to an Ultimate Package at $249.99 (October 2026).
I rated it 3.5 out of 5 in my Ashley Madison review. Who it suits: married or attached people who want discretion first. The catch: credits are expensive, and like Fling, it has fake profile complaints. My Ashley Madison alternatives page and the affair dating sites hub cover other discreet options.
Fling vs Flingster: not the same site
Half of the results for this search are about Flingster, not Fling. Flingster is a random video chat site where you are paired with strangers on camera, in the Omegle style, and the “sites like Flingster” pages that rank here list other random video chats. That is not dating: there are no profiles to vet and no way to know who is on the other side. If you came for Fling.com’s video rooms, the picks above with real profiles and verification are a safer bet.
Sites I would skip
- Flirt.com. It shows up on older Fling alternative lists. I rated it 2 out of 5 in my Flirt.com review, so I would not move to it from Fling.
- Sugar sites. Some lists add Seeking or Sugarbook. Those are arrangements with expectations of money or gifts, not a replacement for Fling, and exchanging sex for money is illegal in most of the US. Every site above bans it.
- Anything that asks you to pay a member. A real hookup site never needs you to buy a gift card or send money to meet someone.
Before you leave Fling: cancel the right way
None of the pages ranking for this search explain how Fling bills, and it matters if you are switching. From Fling’s terms of use and FAQ (checked October 2026):
- Memberships renew on their own. Trial and paid memberships renew at the current one-month price when they expire; 6-month plans renew every 6 months, and 12- and 18-month plans renew for another 12 months.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your monthly anniversary date, or you pay for another month. The FAQ says to do it in the Manage Account or Billing section of your profile settings.
- Refunds are narrow. If you upgraded only to talk to one specific member who never replied, the terms let you ask for a full refund within 10 days of your first purchase by calling customer service. Your account then goes back to free.
- Delete last. Deleting your account in settings is permanent and removes your messages and photos, per the FAQ. Cancel billing first, then delete. If you paid in the App Store or Google Play, cancel there too.
The same rule applies to every site in this list: turn off auto-renewal the day you pay, and note the cancellation window (24 hours for Pure in the App Store, 72 hours for BeNaughty).
Safety on hookup sites
Fling’s own FAQ says that if a member asks you for money, there is a good chance they are a scammer, and it offers a webcam Verified badge and a Report Abuse button on each profile. Those basics hold on every alternative.
- Verify first. Prefer profiles with a verified badge, or ask for a short video call before you meet.
- Meet in public, get there on your own and tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Never send money, gift cards or crypto. The FTC’s romance scam guide lists the red flags: pushing you off the app fast, refusing to meet, and asking for money for emergencies, travel or investments. Report scams at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and to the site.
- Keep your real identity back until you trust someone: separate email, no workplace, no photos you also use on social media.
My online dating safety hub goes further on scams and red flags, and the hookup dating sites page and the dating app alternatives hub have more options if none of these fit.
How I ranked them
This ranking is based on public information, not on new hands-on use: each app’s App Store listing, each site’s own pages and terms (checked October 2026), and the ratings from my original reviews. I put first what most closely replaces what Fling offers (an explicit, active crowd), then the options that do one part of Fling better: anonymity, open-minded dating, crowd size, flat pricing and discretion. A pick’s rating is the one from its review; the order reflects how well it fits someone leaving Fling.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best site like Fling?
AdultFriendFinder is the closest match: an explicit hookup site with live chat and a much bigger crowd. If you want anonymity, Pure is better, and Feeld suits couples and open-minded singles.
Is Fling the same as Flingster?
No. Fling.com is a casual dating site with profiles, messages and video rooms. Flingster is a random video chat site that pairs you with strangers on camera, with no profiles to check.
Is there a free alternative to Fling?
Tinder lets you swipe, match and chat for free, and Feeld lets you chat with mutual connections without paying. The adult sites in this list, like AdultFriendFinder and BeNaughty, need a paid plan to message.
How do I cancel Fling?
Fling’s FAQ says to cancel in the Manage Account or Billing section of your profile settings. Its terms say to do it at least 24 hours before your monthly anniversary date, or you are charged for another month. If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there.
Are Fling’s 49 million members real?
Fling’s terms say any member estimate includes every free and paid account created since the site started, because inactive accounts are not purged. So the number is not the count of people active today.
