Feeld vs 3Fun: Which Is Better in 2026?

Feeld vs 3Fun comes down to this: pick Feeld if you want the bigger, broader non-monogamy and kink community, detailed profiles and a free tier that already includes read receipts. Pick 3Fun if you are a couple who wants one shared account on one subscription, or you travel and want to browse any city before you land. For most singles and anyone new to ENM, Feeld is the one I’d try first; 3Fun is the better second app for couples hunting a third.

My verdict: Feeld first (4/5 in my Feeld review), 3Fun second (3/5 in my 3Fun review). Both have the same $29.99 monthly sticker price in the US, but a couple pays very differently on each, and several things the top Google results say about Feeld are no longer true. Both are below.

Prices checked October 2026 on the Feeld App Store listing and the 3Fun App Store listing (US). Ratings and downloads from those listings, Feeld on Google Play and 3Fun on Google Play. Member counts are each company’s own claim on feeld.co and go3fun.co, not audited numbers.

What each app is built for

Feeld started in 2014 as 3nder, a threesome app, and grew into the broadest app for open-minded dating. Its profiles carry Desires (threesomes, group, kink, friendship, long-term and more), about 20 gender identities and 20 sexualities, and you can link your profile to up to five partners. People use it for everything from a one-night thing to a long-term polycule. You can try it at feeld.co.

3Fun is narrower and more direct. It is built around couples finding a third, swingers, and singles who want to join couples, with a shared couple account and group chat at its core. Fewer questions, shorter path to “are we meeting?” You can get it from 3Fun’s site.

The community line you will see everywhere is “Feeld for connections, 3Fun for hookups.” It is a fair shorthand for the culture, but plenty of Feeld users want hookups and plenty of 3Fun couples want a regular third. The real differences are in how couples are set up, what each costs, where you can browse, and how many people are around you.

Couples: one shared account vs linked profiles

This is the biggest structural difference, and the one that should decide it for most couples.

  • 3Fun lets you sign up as Man+Woman, Man+Man or Woman+Woman and both log into one account, with shared photos, one bio and one inbox. If you prefer, each partner can make their own account and link them with a QR code or invite link, per 3Fun’s FAQ.
  • Feeld has no couple sign-up. Each partner keeps a separate profile with their own photos, bio and Desires, and you link them in a Constellation of up to five partners. Your connections and chat histories are not shared between linked partners, but you can open group chats, per Feeld’s help center.

Which is better depends on how you date. If you always date as a unit and want one conversation per match, 3Fun’s shared account is simpler. If each of you also dates separately, or you want matches to see two real people with their own voices, Feeld’s linked profiles fit better. They are also the better fit for poly setups with more than two people.

What a couple actually pays

Every comparison in the top results says both apps cost about the same. For a single person that is true. For a couple it is not, and none of them does the math.

Feeld says plainly that it has no Majestic plan for couples or partners: if you both want paid features, you both upgrade. The one exception is Incognito, which covers your linked partners when you turn it on. A 3Fun shared couple account is one login, so one VIP membership covers both of you. (If you use two linked 3Fun accounts instead, 3Fun’s FAQ doesn’t say one VIP covers both, so assume each account pays.)

Who paysFeeld Majestic3Fun VIP
Single, monthly$29.99 a month$29.99 a month
Single, cheapest plan$149.99 a year (about $12.50 a month)$39.99 for 3 months (about $13.33 a month)
Couple, both paid, monthly2 × $29.99 = $59.98 a month$29.99 a month (shared account)
Couple, a full year on the cheapest plan2 × $149.99 = $299.984 × $39.99 = $159.96 (shared account)

US App Store prices, checked October 2026, from the Feeld and 3Fun listings. Prices can differ on Google Play and outside the US. Yearly couple totals are simple multiplication of the listed plans.

The cheaper route for a Feeld couple is often to have only one partner on Majestic. Free Feeld members can still browse, connect, chat and link to a partner, per Feeld’s free membership page, and the Incognito of one paying partner covers the other.

Both apps also sell extras. Feeld sells Pings (one for $2.99, five for $13.49, ten for $20.99, twenty for $34.99) and an Uplift for $9.99. 3Fun sells Priority Messages for $9.99 or $19.99. Neither app needs these to work.

Free vs paid: what you actually get

Both apps are usable for free, which is the right way to start: you will know in a week whether there are people near you.

Where the top results get it wrong

If you have been reading other Feeld vs 3Fun comparisons, a few of their key claims are out of date. I checked each one against the companies’ own pages in October 2026.

  • “Feeld has no read receipts.” It does now, and they are free. Feeld’s help center says read receipts and send confirmations are free for all members: slide a message left, two check marks mean it was opened. On 3Fun, read receipts are a VIP feature, so this point has actually flipped.
  • “On Feeld a left swipe is gone forever.” Majestic members can undo their last dislike and use History to give recent dislikes a second look. Free members still can’t.
  • “Feeld only works in about 40 cities.” Feeld lists 45 popular locations you can switch to (US ones include Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and Seattle), plus virtual locations such as Remote Trios. You still can’t browse an arbitrary city, which is where 3Fun wins.
  • “3Fun has no advanced privacy modes.” 3Fun’s FAQ lists Incognito, hiding your distance and a Block Contacts option, with Incognito on VIP.
  • “Only 3Fun blocks screenshots.” Feeld’s homepage says images you send in chat cannot be screenshot, and it can blur explicit images until you tap to see them.

Worth knowing too: two of the top results are 3Fun’s own blog and one is from an app that coaches Feeld users. Read them with that in mind.

Who is on each app

Feeld is clearly the bigger app: 5M+ downloads on Google Play against 1M+ for 3Fun, and it claims 14 million members against 3Fun’s 3 million active members. Bigger does not mean busier near you, though. Both apps are strongest in large cities, and in smaller towns either one can feel empty.

In my Feeld review I found most profiles seemed real and people were pretty active, with a heavy poly presence. In my 3Fun review, most profiles I saw looked real too, but the pool was smaller than on bigger apps and skewed male, and I was in a big city.

The store ratings tell a split story. 3Fun holds up on both stores (4.4 on the App Store, 4.3 on Google Play). Feeld is 4.3 on the App Store but only 3.1 on Google Play from 57K reviews, so Android users have been noticeably less happy. One of the top results calls Feeld “just above four stars,” which is only true on iPhone. Both apps were updated in October 2026, so both are actively maintained.

Feeld also runs in-person events with community partners; 3Fun’s site doesn’t mention any. That suits people who would rather meet the community before meeting a match.

Profiles: Desires vs a blank bio

Feeld asks you for more: your genders and sexualities, Desires, interests, and you can keep a public bio and a hidden one. Even when someone skips the bio, their Desires tell you what they are looking for, and Majestic lets you filter by them. 3Fun profiles are simpler, with 10+ sexualities and a free-text bio, so many users say little. If you care about matching on specific kinks or relationship styles, Feeld does that work for you.

Messaging, likes and second chances

  • Before a match: Feeld uses Pings (paid, or one a day with Majestic). 3Fun gives VIP members 5 Pokes a week, reset Monday, and sells Priority Messages.
  • Read receipts: free on Feeld, VIP on 3Fun (see above).
  • Group chats: both. Feeld lets you create group chats with your connections; 3Fun lets you invite your partner and matches into one.
  • Undo: Feeld Majestic undoes your last dislike. Some reviews describe a “Passed” tab on 3Fun, but it isn’t in 3Fun’s FAQ, so I can’t confirm which plan it needs.

Location and travel

This one goes to 3Fun. With VIP you can search any city or drop a pin on the map, and your profile then shows in that city, per 3Fun’s FAQ. That is useful for planning a trip, or for staying off your hometown’s feed. Feeld only lets you switch to its 45 listed cities or a virtual location, and while you are there you disappear from your local Discover feed. If you live in or travel to one of those cities, Feeld is fine. If you are headed to a smaller one, 3Fun is the tool.

Privacy and discretion

Both apps take discretion seriously; they just put it in different places.

  • Feeld: Incognito (Majestic) hides you from Discover unless you like someone first, and covers your linked partners. Private photos only your connections see (Majestic), screenshot protection on chat images, timed photos and view-once videos, and optional blurring of explicit images.
  • 3Fun: Incognito (VIP), hide your distance, private photos only matches see, Block Contacts to hide from people in your phone, and photos served through presigned URLs, per its App Store listing.

One trap on Feeld: if your Majestic membership lapses, your private photos stop being private and become visible to all members, and your profile stops being hidden. 3Fun’s FAQ warns the same about Incognito. Remove anything you don’t want public before you cancel.

Safety: verification, fakes and reporting

Neither app checks ID. Both offer optional photo verification, so treat the badge as a good sign, not a guarantee.

  • Feeld matches one of your public photos to a live selfie through a third party, Veriff, and adds a Verified badge. It doesn’t ask for ID, per its verification page. In a Constellation, each partner verifies separately, so one can be verified and the other not.
  • 3Fun asks for a selfie with a thumbs-up. Couples must both be in the verification photo, and the gender you chose must match, per its FAQ.

To report someone on Feeld, scroll to the bottom of their profile and tap Block or report; if they have blocked you, ask the support bot. On 3Fun, use the report button on the profile or email support@go3fun.co, as its safety tips explain. 3Fun’s terms ban fake and impostor profiles outright.

The habits that matter more than any badge, on either app:

  • Video call before you meet. Someone who always has an excuse not to is a red flag.
  • Keep the chat in the app until you have met. Reports are much harder to act on once you move to another messenger.
  • Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you haven’t met in person. The FTC’s romance scam guide lists the stories to watch for, and you can report to ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
  • Meet a new person or couple in a busy public place first, tell a friend where you are, and get your own ride home.
  • Agree on boundaries and consent before anything happens, and know it can be withdrawn at any time.

Cancelling and refunds

Both apps bill through the App Store or Google Play when you subscribe in the app, and both auto-renew. Deleting or deactivating your account cancels nothing on either.

  • Feeld: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions at least 48 hours before the next payment; Feeld’s support team can’t cancel for you. Refunds go through the stores only, and Feeld says it doesn’t refund unused or accidental purchases, per its refund page. To delete the account, go to Settings, App Settings, Delete account.
  • 3Fun: its US terms of use say subscriptions renew automatically, fees are non-refundable, and you must cancel at least three days before the next term. Deactivating hides your data for six months before it is removed, and logging in again reactivates it.

3Fun’s terms are those of 3Fun Limited, with a legal agent address in the Seychelles. Feeld Ltd is the seller on the App Store. That doesn’t make either one unsafe, but it is worth knowing who you are paying.

Which should you pick?

  • You’re a single person: Feeld. Bigger pool, more singles, and profiles that tell you what people want.
  • You’re a couple who always dates together: 3Fun’s shared account, then add Feeld once you know what you are looking for.
  • You’re a couple who also dates separately, or a polycule: Feeld’s linked profiles.
  • You want a one-time threesome soon: 3Fun is more direct; Feeld works too.
  • You want an ongoing third or a long-term poly connection: Feeld.
  • You’re new to non-monogamy: Feeld. Its culture is more patient with newcomers.
  • You travel or live outside a big city: 3Fun VIP for roaming anywhere; check whether your city is one of Feeld’s 45.
  • You’re on a tight budget as a couple: 3Fun shared account on the 3-month plan, or Feeld with only one partner paying.
  • You’re not sure: use both free tiers for a week and keep the one that is busy where you live.

Neither one feel right? My Feeld alternatives list covers the other apps worth trying, and the polyamory and ENM dating apps guide and swinger dating sites page go wider. Frequently asked questions

Does anyone use Feeld anymore?

Yes. Feeld claims 14 million members, has 5M+ downloads on Google Play and was updated in October 2026. Activity is concentrated in large cities, so a quiet feed in a small town says more about your location than the app.

Is 3Fun still active?

Yes. 3Fun was updated on both the App Store and Google Play in October 2026, has about 150K App Store ratings at 4.4 stars, and claims 3 million active members. Like Feeld, it is busiest in big cities.

Is 3Fun a legitimate dating app?

Yes. It is run by 3Fun Limited, sold through the App Store and Google Play, offers optional photo verification and bans fake profiles in its terms. As on any app, verify people by video call before meeting and never send money.

Is there a better app than Feeld?

It depends on what you want. For couples who always date as a unit, 3Fun's shared account can be the better and cheaper fit. For singles and poly daters, Feeld is still the broadest option, and my Feeld alternatives list compares the other apps worth a try.

How many likes can I get per day on 3Fun?

3Fun does not publish the daily cap for free members. VIP members get unlimited likes, plus 5 Pokes a week to message people before matching.

Does 3Fun notify screenshots?

3Fun's official listings and FAQ do not mention screenshot notifications. Its store listings say private photos are visible only to your matches. Feeld, for its part, says images sent in chat cannot be screenshot.
