Best Senior Christian Dating Sites in 2026 (Honest Picks)

The best senior Christian dating sites in 2026 are Christian Mingle if you want a Christian-only site with the best-known name, SilverSingles if you want only people over 50 and are happy to talk about faith yourself, and Higher Bond if you are over 60 and want a few hand-checked matches a day instead of swiping. ChristianCafe has the best free trial, eharmony and Match give you the biggest pools of older singles, and CDFF is the one to pick if you never want to pay.

Below: the ranking, what each one costs today, which faith and age filters are free, who really owns these sites, what “verified” proves, and how to keep the scammers who target older Christians away from your savings. If you want the wider picture first, my senior dating sites guide covers the whole category, and my Christian and faith dating sites hub covers believers of every age.

Which senior Christian dating site should you pick?

The first question is not which site is best. It is whether every person you see must be a Christian, or whether being with people your own age matters more. Christian-only sites are smaller and most let anyone 18 and up join. The 50+ sites are bigger for your age group, but you filter for faith yourself.

Decision flow: if every match must be Christian, pick Higher Bond, Christian Mingle or CDFF; if age comes first, SilverSingles, Match or eharmony
Based on each site’s own pricing and help pages, October 2026.
  • Over 60 and tired of swiping: Higher Bond.
  • You want a Christian-only site with a website you can use on a computer: Christian Mingle or ChristianCafe.
  • You only want people over 50: SilverSingles, SeniorMatch or OurTime, then say plainly in your profile that faith comes first.
  • You live in a small town: Match or eharmony, because a big pool with a religion filter beats a tiny faith-only pool.
  • Fixed income: CDFF (free) or Higher Bond (free members can reply to anyone who writes).

1. Christian Mingle: best Christian-only site for older singles

Christian Mingle is the name most older Christians already know, and it runs a page aimed at seniors. Its help center says free (Basic) members can view photos and profiles, send up to 10 Likes a day, see 3 Recommended Picks and message anyone once you have both Liked each other, per its Basic vs Premium page. Premium adds unlimited Likes, See Who Liked You, extra filters and read receipts.

The filters matter at this age. Per its match preferences article, age, distance, education, politics and beliefs are free for everyone, but Church and Family Plans are Premium. The same page warns that preferences “are not strict”, so you will still see people outside your age range. Selfie profile verification is optional and earns a blue shield badge; look for it.

Premium costs $49.99 for 1 month, $104.99 for 3, $149.99 for 6 and $179.99 for 12 months on the App Store, where the app has 3.5 stars from 556 ratings and the listing says the company “does not conduct background checks”. Its refund policy is blunt: all purchases are final, renewals included.

The catch: it is the priciest Christian site here, and its own help center is not consistent. The About Christian Mingle page says “a Premium membership unlocks messaging”, while the Basic vs Premium page says free members can message after a mutual Like. Try the free tier first and see for yourself before you pay. One top-ranking list also says there is no 12-month plan; the App Store now sells one. More in my Christian Mingle review. Visit Christian Mingle.

2. SilverSingles: best for meeting only people over 50

SilverSingles is not a Christian site, but it is built only for singles over 50, and it runs its own guide to Christian dating for over 50s. That page says every profile you can see has completed real-person verification, and that unverified profiles are not shown. It also says, fairly, that verification “does not establish someone’s Christian beliefs”, so you have to ask.

It is the cheapest paid 50+ option here: $18.99 for 1 month, $47.99 for 3 months and $84.99 for 6 months on the App Store, where it has 4.3 stars from 223 ratings. The App Store seller is Heartnet LLC, and the website footer says SuccessfulMatch.com, Inc.

The catch: there is no documented Christian filter, so faith is something you write about and ask about. And be careful with older write-ups: the Christian list that ranks on page one describes a long personality test and $27.95 to $44.95 monthly prices. Today’s listing and help pages say nothing about that test and show $18.99 a month. I trust the official pages. Visit SilverSingles.

3. Higher Bond: best for Christians over 60 who hate swiping

Higher Bond is the most senior-friendly of the Christian apps. It has a page written for Christian singles over 60 that explains, in plain steps, how sign-up, filters and messages work. You filter by age, location and church denomination, there is no swiping, and the company says it manually screens every user before giving them access. Its App Store listing adds that you get 3 to 5 matches a day and that accounts and photos are approved by hand.

The money rules are the fairest of the Christian sites. Per its pricing page, every member, free or paid, can reply to messages. Paying lets you start conversations, see all of someone’s photos and read the personal parts of a profile, like testimony and children. The page lists $26.95 for 1 month, $18.95 a month on 3 months ($56.85 upfront), $14.95 a month on 6 months, and a lifetime plan on sale at $59. The App Store shows $24.99 for 1 month, $44.95 for 3, $71.90 for 6 and $59 lifetime, and the pricing page says purchases go through Apple or Google.

The catch: it is small (695 App Store ratings, 4.2 stars), and the pricing page says there are no refunds, “no exceptions”, while every plan auto-renews unless you cancel at least 72 hours before it ends. If you like it after a few weeks free, the $59 lifetime plan is the best value in this list. More in my Higher Bond review. Visit Higher Bond.

4. ChristianCafe: best free trial

ChristianCafe has been “connecting Christian singles since 1999” and its App Store listing offers a 10-day free trial in which you can message, not just look. That makes it the easiest paid Christian site to judge before you spend anything. Its tagline, “All Christian. All Single.”, sums up who it is for. The seller is RealCafes.com Inc.

After the trial there is no free tier: one month is listed at $39.99 or $44.99, three months at $59.99 or $69.99, six months at $89.99 or $99.99 and a year at $109.99 or $119.99 (October 2026).

The catch: 2.3 stars from just 56 App Store ratings, so the app side is thin. The list on page one quotes a $13.20 monthly price on the yearly plan; the App Store shows about $9 to $10 a month on the year, billed in one payment. Use all ten days, then decide. More in my ChristianCafe review. Visit ChristianCafe.

5. eharmony: best for marriage-minded matching

eharmony is not a Christian site, though it publishes a long guide for Christian seniors and many believers over 50 use it because it is built for long-term relationships. Everyone starts with a compatibility quiz, and each match shows a compatibility score, per its App Store listing (4.1 stars, 49K ratings). In my eHarmony review I found religion sits among the premium filters, so the faith filter is part of what you pay for.

Its cost page says the free Basic tier lets you take the quiz, see matches, send Likes and a first message, with limited messaging. Premium comes in 3, 6 or 12-month plans, with prices shown only after you log in; the App Store lists items from $59.99 to $349.99 without saying how long each lasts.

The catch: no monthly plan and no public price list. Write down the total before you check out. Visit eharmony.

6. Match: best for the biggest pool of older singles

If you live outside a big city, pool size beats everything, and Match has the largest pool of older daters. Pew Research found online daters 50 and older are about five times as likely to have used Match as Tinder (50% against 11%), in its key findings about online dating. Match runs a page for Christian singles, and in my Match review I found the sign-up asks for your religion, so it shows on your profile.

Free members can chat with every match and rate up to 50 profiles a day, per Match’s subscription options. The same page says packages are charged in full at purchase and all include auto-renewal. On the App Store, 1 Month Standard is $44.99 and a 6 Month Bundle is $129.99 (3.9 stars from 243K ratings).

The catch: it is secular and mixed-age, and advanced filters are a Platinum feature. You will spend more time sorting. See my Match review. Visit Match.

7. SeniorMatch: best 50+ site with verified members

SeniorMatch “restricts registration of members to age 50 and up” and says “only verified members can connect with you”, per its App Store listing (3.8 stars, 2.4K ratings). It also has a page for Christian singles over 60, which claims 2.4 million members over 50, a company figure I cannot check. Registering and browsing is free; Premium is listed at $33.99 for 1 month, $69.99 for 3 and $109.99 for 6 months, with a pricier “premium” set at $55, $99 and $150.

The catch: no faith filter is documented, the same Christian page footer says it runs no background checks, and it belongs to the same company as SilverSingles (SuccessfulMatch.com, Inc.). Joining both mostly doubles your bill, not your options. Visit SeniorMatch.

8. OurTime: simplest 50+ app

OurTime calls itself “the dating app for people over 50”. Its App Store listing (3.9 stars, 71K ratings) says free members can build a profile, search and get daily matches; Premium adds who liked you, read receipts and boosts. The 1 Month Premium Subscription is $39.99. It is a Match Group app, like Match.

The catch: nothing Christian about it, and the listing describes moderation and fraud detection but no verification badge. See my OurTime review. Visit OurTime.

9. CDFF: best free Christian dating site

Christian Dating For Free answers the question many retirees ask first. Its FAQ says it “does not ask for payment information to be a member”. The optional Elevate upgrade removes ads, shows last-login dates and puts you at the top of searches; on the App Store one month is listed at $19.99 or $23.99, with sale prices from $11.99 (4.1 stars, 3.5K ratings). Elevate renews automatically and is not refundable.

The catch: it is open to all adults, so you filter by age yourself, and the FAQ says plainly that CDFF “does not conduct a criminal background check”. More in my CDFF review. Visit CDFF.

What senior Christian dating sites really cost in 2026

Most of these sites hide prices until you sign up, and the one Christian list on page one quotes numbers that no longer match the stores. Here is what each listing and pricing page shows, before tax. Prices checked October 2026 on each US App Store listing and on Higher Bond’s pricing page, all linked above.

Three rules save the most money on a fixed income:

  • Start free for two weeks. Count how many active, nearby people your age who share your faith you actually see. Pay only if the number is real.
  • Longer plans are charged in one payment. Match says so in writing, Higher Bond too, and Christian Mingle’s year is $179.99 upfront.
  • Turn off auto-renewal the day you subscribe. Every paid plan here renews. If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there, not on the website: Christian Mingle’s refund page says store purchases follow the store’s rules.

Who owns these sites

Many older Christians want to know whether believers run the company. None of the top results tell you, so here is what the official pages show:

  • Christian-owned: Higher Bond (Obods LLC, which says it is “100% Christian owned”) and ChristianCafe (RealCafes.com Inc.). CDFF is run by E Dating For Free, Inc.
  • Secular companies: Christian Mingle’s help center says it is “part of Black Cap”, a portfolio of dating brands, while its App Store seller still reads Spark Networks, Inc. Match and OurTime are Match Group apps. eharmony’s App Store seller is eHarmony.com.
  • One company, two sites: SilverSingles and SeniorMatch both carry SuccessfulMatch.com, Inc. in their footers.

Ownership does not decide whether you meet a kind person. It does decide who sets the rules on photos, prices and refunds, so it is a fair tiebreaker.

What “verified” proves, and what it does not

A blue badge is not a background check, and none of these sites run one. Christian Mingle’s App Store listing, SilverSingles’ and SeniorMatch’s footers and CDFF’s FAQ all say so. SilverSingles’ help page explains it best: photo verification confirms the person matches their photos, but it does not confirm income, occupation, relationship intentions, medical information or criminal history.

  • Required for everyone: SilverSingles (real-person verification before your profile is shown), SeniorMatch (only verified members can contact you), Higher Bond (manual approval of accounts and photos).
  • Optional: Christian Mingle’s selfie check and blue shield.
  • None documented: ChristianCafe, CDFF, OurTime.

And a Christian label is not proof of faith either. Ask about church life early, kindly and directly: “What does a good Sunday look like for you?” tells you more than a checkbox. For the full picture on badges, see my guide to the safest dating apps.

Romance scams that target older Christians

Older adults reported $2.4 billion in fraud losses in 2024, up from about $600 million in 2020, according to the FTC’s annual report on protecting older adults. Scammers on faith sites borrow the language of prayer and God’s plan. The FTC’s page on what to know about romance scams lists the pattern: they want to leave the app quickly, declare strong feelings early, say they work abroad, on an oil rig or in the military, then ask for money by wire transfer, gift cards, a payment app or cryptocurrency.

  • Keep the chat on the site and ask for a video call before you get attached.
  • Never send money or gift cards to someone you have not met in person. CDFF’s FAQ says it in capitals.
  • Run a reverse image search on photos that look too polished.
  • Meet the first time in a busy public place, arrange your own ride and tell a friend or one of your children where you will be.
  • Report the profile in the app and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

My guide to online dating scams walks through each pattern in more detail.

Apps that skew younger

You will see Upward and Ark recommended for Christians: Google’s AI summary for this search cites the Reddit thread that ranks here for Upward, and Ark ranks with its own homepage. Both are phone-first apps, and the members shown on Ark’s homepage are in their 20s. See my Upward review before you join. If you are in your 50s, live near a city and are comfortable swiping, they are worth a look next to a 50+ site. My ranking of the best online dating sites for Christians covers them in full.

Where else to meet Christian singles over 60

Online dating works best next to real life, not instead of it. The places the top guides agree on are the ones that already fill a Christian senior’s week: church small groups and Bible studies, senior ministries, volunteer work such as food banks and church outreach, faith-based travel groups and retreats. Tell your friends at church you are open to an introduction; at this age, many good matches come from someone who knows you both. If you lost a spouse, my widow dating sites guide covers sites built for that new chapter, and for more 60+ options without the faith angle, see my best dating sites for over 60.

How I ranked them

Each site gets a score from 1 to 5 on five points: value for money, safety and verification, evidence of an active user base, features for Christians over 50, and transparency on pricing, renewal and cancellation. The ratings are based on public information read in October 2026: pricing pages, help centers, App Store listings and Pew Research data. They are not based on hands-on use. Where I have a full review, its rating is reused. SeniorMatch scores 3.5 for required verification and clear prices, held back by no faith filter and a pricey top tier. The order also weighs how well each site fits this searcher, which is why Christian Mingle, with a 3, sits above eharmony and Match, with a 4.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most honest dating site for seniors?

No site can promise honesty, but the ones that check every member are the safest bet. SilverSingles shows only profiles that passed real-person verification, SeniorMatch lets only verified members contact you, and Higher Bond approves accounts and photos by hand. None of them runs background checks, so still video call before you meet.

Where can a 70 year old woman meet a man?

Combine one 50+ site with real life. Online, SilverSingles, SeniorMatch and OurTime accept only people over 50, and Match has the largest pool of older daters. Offline, church small groups, senior ministries, volunteer work and faith-based travel groups are where many Christian seniors meet, often through a friend's introduction.

What is the most successful Christian dating site?

No Christian dating site publishes audited success rates, so treat any "most successful" claim as marketing. Christian Mingle is the best-known name and ChristianCafe has run since 1999. The site that works best is the one with active members near you, which you can only see by trying the free tier first.

Is there a 100% free dating site for seniors?

For Christians, CDFF is the closest: its FAQ says it does not ask for payment information, and its Elevate upgrade is optional. Higher Bond lets free members reply to anyone who writes to them. Most senior sites, including Christian Mingle and SilverSingles, charge to unlock full messaging or features.

What are the complaints about SilverSingles?

The current US app has only 223 App Store ratings (4.3 stars, October 2026) and few written reviews, so there is no clear pattern yet. The real catches are that it is not a Christian site and has no documented faith filter, and that older reviews describe a personality test and prices that the current listing no longer shows.

What is the least expensive senior dating site?

CDFF is free. Among paid options, SilverSingles has the cheapest month at $18.99 on the App Store, and Higher Bond sells a lifetime plan on sale at $59 (prices checked October 2026). Christian Mingle is the priciest at $49.99 for one month.
