Best Interracial Dating Sites in 2026: Ranked

The best interracial online dating sites in 2026 are Hinge if you want the biggest relationship-minded pool, Match if you are 30+ and serious, and OkCupid if you want detailed profiles for free. If you want a site where everyone has opted into interracial dating, InterracialCupid is the strongest dedicated option, and AfroRomance is the niche site where a free member can still reply to messages. Below: what each one costs, who owns it, and the look-alike apps to skip.

One thing almost nobody tells you: several “different” interracial sites are run by the same company and can share your profile across their network, so joining three of them often buys you the same people three times. I cover that, the real prices from the official store listings, and what the research says about who dates across racial lines.

Ratings are out of 5. Where I have a full review, the rating comes from it and is linked. Store ratings checked October 2026.

How I ranked them

I have not used these sites for this ranking. It is built from public information read in October 2026: each company’s own pages, FAQ and terms, its App Store or Google Play listing, Pew Research data and the FTC’s romance scam guidance. For sites I have reviewed, I reuse the published rating. The others are scored on the same five points, each 1 to 5 and averaged to the half point: value for money, safety and verification, evidence of an active user base, features for interracial daters, and transparency about prices, renewals and who runs the site. The order weighs how many real, active people you are likely to meet above how “interracial” the branding is, because a niche site with a tiny local pool does not help you.

Interracial dating site or mainstream app?

Dedicated interracial sites have one real advantage: everyone on them has said they are open to dating across racial lines, so you skip the guesswork. Their weakness is size. Most publish no member numbers you can check, none of the Chellaul sites below has a store app, and in a smaller city the pool thins out fast.

Mainstream apps flip that trade. Hinge has 4.4 stars from over 1.1 million ratings on the App Store, and OkCupid 4.3 stars from about 289,000 on its App Store listing, which is far more people than any niche site can show. You do not get a guarantee that everyone is open to it, but you can say so in your profile and filter for it. Tinder and Bumble work the same way for a wider, more casual crowd: see my Tinder review and Bumble review. My honest advice: run one big app and, at most, one dedicated site at the same time.

If you are specifically looking for Black singles, my Black and interracial dating sites hub covers BLK, BlackPeopleMeet, BlackCupid and the rest.

1. Hinge: best overall for an interracial relationship

Hinge is built around profiles with prompts and photos you like or comment on, and it sells itself on dating with intent. Its App Store listing says the app is free to use and that you upgrade to Hinge+ to see everyone who likes you or send unlimited likes. That free tier is generous enough to meet people without paying.

Who it suits: anyone who wants a relationship and a large pool to choose from. The catch: nothing on Hinge tells you who is open to interracial dating, so say it in a prompt. Paid plans renew automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends, per the listing. My Hinge review gives it 4.5 out of 5. You can start at hinge.co.

2. Match: best for serious daters over 30

Match is the classic paid dating site. Its App Store listing (3.9 stars from about 243,000 ratings, October 2026) says that without a subscription you can create a profile, get daily match suggestions and chat with recommended matches. Premium adds unlimited profiles and “advanced filters to find exactly what you’re looking for”.

Who it suits: people over 30 who want something serious and do not mind paying. The catch: it is one of the pricier options (see the price table below), and it is not built for interracial dating specifically. My Match review rates it 4 out of 5, and my serious dating apps list has more paid options.

3. OkCupid: best free option with detailed profiles

OkCupid matches people on long profiles and questions about values, which is helpful when you want to know how someone thinks about culture, family and politics before you meet. Its App Store listing calls it “a free dating app for everyone” with an optional premium subscription that adds seeing who likes you, unlimited likes and Dealbreakers, the setting that makes a preference strict.

Who it suits: people who want to use a big app for free and screen on values. The catch: a free, open app attracts more low-effort messages, so expect to filter. My OkCupid review gives it 4 out of 5.

4. InterracialCupid: best dedicated interracial dating site

InterracialCupid is part of Cupid Media, which says on the InterracialCupid home page that it runs over 30 niche dating sites, including BlackCupid. Membership is free to start and you can review your matches for free. Its Google Play listing shows 3.9 stars from about 16,200 ratings, 1M+ downloads and an update on October 22, 2026, which is the best evidence of an active pool of any dedicated site here. Paid Gold and Platinum tiers add unlimited communication, message translation, anonymous browsing and no ads, according to that listing.

Who it suits: people who want everyone on the site to be open to interracial dating, and people happy to meet someone abroad. The catch: the home page only links a Google Play app, so iPhone users get the website. No prices appear on its home page or its Google Play listing, so I cannot give you a confirmed figure. Its sister app BlackCupid has 4.4 stars from about 9,000 ratings on Google Play. My score: 3 out of 5 (value 3, safety 3, active users 3.5, features 3.5, transparency 2.5).

5. eharmony: best for marriage-minded daters

eharmony’s interracial dating page pitches its Compatibility Quiz, detailed filters and location preferences, and says you can sign up free and look at profiles. The App Store listing (4.1 stars from about 49,000 ratings) is clear about the paywall: you can send a Like and a first message, but “with Premium memberships you can now swap messages.”

Who it suits: people who want marriage and like being matched on values first. The catch: it is the most expensive app here, and you will pay before a real conversation. My eharmony review rates it 4 out of 5.

6. AfroRomance: best free niche site for Black and white singles

AfroRomance focuses on Black and white couples, though you can search other backgrounds too. The AfroRomance FAQ says you can “register, create a profile, add photos, flirt and reply to messages with members for free.” Replying for free is rare on paid niche sites and matters: if a paying member writes to you, you can answer without spending anything.

Who it suits: Black and white singles who want a dedicated site and a usable free account. The catch: website only, no published prices before you register, and no background checks. My AfroRomance review gives it 2.5 out of 5. Visit AfroRomance to start free.

7. Swirlr: best for multicultural daters who prefer a website

Swirlr is for “dating different” across any backgrounds, not only Black and white. The Swirlr FAQ gives free members the same rights as AfroRomance: register, add photos, flirt and reply for free. Its footer also states that Swirlr does not conduct background checks on its members.

Who it suits: people who like a classic search-and-message site. The catch: it is a sister site of AfroRomance (see the ownership section below), with no store app and no public price list. My Swirlr review rates it 2.5 out of 5.

8. InterracialDatingCentral: same network, older brand

InterracialDatingCentral calls itself the “World’s Largest Interracial Dating Community” but gives no member count on its home page, only “thousands of members” and “over 2 million followers” on social media, which is not the same thing. Its FAQ offers the same free features as AfroRomance and Swirlr. The home page says a dedicated app is coming “very soon”, with no date, and that the site does not run background checks.

Who it suits: honestly, it is the same deal as AfroRomance and Swirlr. Pick one of the three. My score: 2.5 out of 5 (value 2.5, safety 2, active users 2.5, features 2.5, transparency 2.5).

9. InterracialMatch.com: a long-running paid niche site

InterracialMatch.com says it has offered interracial dating since 2001, and its footer names SuccessfulMatch.com, Inc. and says it is “one of a group of affiliated dating sites”. The InterracialMatch.com home page claims “hundreds of thousands of members” and a “secure member verification process”, without explaining what that process checks, and states that it does not conduct background checks. Oddly, the same page also promotes an unrelated “Civilization Archive” product.

Who it suits: people who want an older paid site with some form of verification. The catch: no prices before signup, no app I could find from SuccessfulMatch on the US App Store, and member claims you cannot check. My score: 2.5 out of 5 (value 2, safety 3, active users 2, features 2.5, transparency 2).

Who owns these interracial dating sites

Read the small print at the bottom of each site and the list collapses. AfroRomance, Swirlr, InterracialDatingCentral and InterracialDating.com (the site that holds two spots in Google’s top 5 for this search) all carry the same footer line: “Copyright © 2003-2026 … Chellaul Corporation”. Swirlr’s home page links InterracialDating.com as a sister site, and the InterracialDating.com home page footer names Chellaul as well.

Diagram grouping interracial dating sites by owner: four Chellaul sites, two Cupid Media sites, three Match Group apps and two unrelated look-alike apps
Owners named in each site’s footer, terms or store listing, checked October 2026.

This matters for two reasons. First, the InterracialDatingCentral terms (effective September 15, 2025) say that “profiles may be shared with other sites operated by Operator”, so your photos can show up on sister sites you never joined. Second, a big member claim may count profiles across the network, not people who chose that site. Join one Chellaul site, not three.

The same logic applies elsewhere. InterracialCupid and BlackCupid are both Cupid Media. Match, Hinge, OkCupid and Tinder all belong to Match Group, according to Match Group’s own site, and the Match and OkCupid store listings name Match Group Americas as the seller. If one app in a family did not work for you, switch families rather than brands.

Look-alike apps: check the seller before you download

Search the app stores for an interracial site by name and you often get something else:

  • “Interracial Dating App: ICupid” on the US App Store is not Cupid Media’s InterracialCupid. Its seller is listed as an individual (华 王), it has 4.2 stars from about 7,500 ratings, and it sells VIP plans at $14.99 for 1 month, $24.99 for 3 months and $39.99 for 6 months (October 2026).
  • “Interracial match” on Google Play, which ranks in Google’s top 5 here, is from EdusonLTD, not InterracialMatch.com. It shows 1K+ downloads, no star rating yet and a last update on March 18, 2026. A tiny pool is the most likely outcome.
  • The Swirl app is not Swirlr. My Swirl review gives it 1.5 out of 5: small, Android only and not updated in over a year.
  • MixerDates publishes several of the lists that rank for this search on its own blog, and puts itself at or near the top of each one. Read those as ads, not reviews.
  • Interracial People Meet, which still ranks on page two, now redirects to a page at /masp/en-us/deprecated when you open interracialpeoplemeet.com (October 2026). Older lists that recommend it are out of date.
My verdict: Flirtini, the top Google result for this search, is a hookup app, not an interracial dating site. Its interracial page pitches “interracial hookups” and claims over 1 million active users, a figure it does not back up. On the App Store it is sold by XYMARA LTD with 4.0 stars from about 39,500 ratings. If you want a relationship, it is the wrong tool.

What interracial dating sites really cost

Every site here is free to join. The question is when it asks for money. These are the subscription prices each app lists for in-app purchase on the US App Store. Apple shows several prices for the same plan name without saying the plan length, so treat them as a range, not your exact checkout price.

Site or appPaid plan prices listedSource
HingeHinge+ $16.99 and $19.99; “Hinge Subscription” $14.99 to $34.99App Store
Match1 Month Standard $44.99; 1 Month Basic $44.99; 6 Month Bundle $129.99App Store
OkCupidOkCupid Premium $7.99 to $59.99App Store
eharmonyBasic $59.99 to $179.99; Premium light $179.99 to $349.99App Store
InterracialCupidGold and Platinum; no prices on the home page or store listingGoogle Play
AfroRomance, Swirlr, InterracialDatingCentralNot published before you registerSite FAQs

Prices checked October 2026. Two habits keep the bill down. Buy one month first, until you have seen real, active people near you. And turn off auto-renewal right after you pay: Hinge’s listing, like every App Store subscription, renews unless you switch it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. The Chellaul terms add that monthly charges “are subject to change without any notice”, so check the checkout screen, not an old review.

Who dates interracially? What the data says

The best public numbers are about marriage, not dating apps. In Pew Research Center’s 2017 analysis, 17% of US newlyweds in 2015 had a spouse of a different race or ethnicity, up from 3% in 1967, and one in ten of all married people, about 11 million, were intermarried.

  • By group, 29% of Asian, 27% of Hispanic, 18% of Black and 11% of white newlyweds married someone of a different race or ethnicity.
  • Among Black newlyweds, 24% of men and 12% of women intermarried.
  • The most common pairing was one Hispanic and one white spouse (42%), then white and Asian (15%), then white and multiracial (12%).
  • Newlyweds in metro areas were more likely to be intermarried than those outside them (18% versus 11%).

Two practical takeaways. If you live outside a metro area, a big mainstream app matters even more. And since interracial dating sites lean heavily on Black and white pairings in their marketing, Latino, Asian and multiracial daters may find more people who share their mix on a large general app.

How to choose: if you are X, pick Y

  • You want a relationship and live in a city: Hinge, free first.
  • You are 30+ and ready to pay for serious: Match or eharmony.
  • You want to pay nothing and screen on values: OkCupid.
  • You want everyone to be open to interracial dating: InterracialCupid, or one (only one) of AfroRomance, Swirlr or InterracialDatingCentral.
  • You are open to someone abroad: InterracialCupid, with the scam rules below.
  • You live in a small town: a big app plus one niche site, since niche pools thin out fast.
  • You want something casual: Tinder or the options in my hookup dating sites guide, not a niche site.

Whatever you pick, look for three things before paying: a free tier that lets you see active, nearby profiles; a verification option; and Block and Report on every profile.

Dating across races: what helps

The top results agree on the human side, and it is worth repeating plainly. On your profile, show who you are (work, hobbies, what you want) rather than leading with the race you are looking for. In messages, ask about the person, not their background. A first message that opens with your skin color or theirs is a red flag for fetishization; you do not owe it a reply, and you can report it.

Talk about family and culture once things get serious, not on the first date. Mixed couples often meet some pressure from relatives or strangers, and it helps to agree early on how you will handle it together. Plan dates that let each of you share something from your own world, from food to holidays.

Safety on interracial dating sites

Verification varies a lot. InterracialMatch.com advertises member verification, the ICupid app claims photo verification, and Match’s listing says every profile goes through checks. The Chellaul sites say plainly that they do not run background checks. No site removes every fake profile, so the FTC’s romance scam advice applies everywhere:

  • Never send money or gifts to someone you have not met in person. Scammers ask for wire transfers, gift cards, payment apps and crypto because they are hard to reverse.
  • Be wary of someone who lives or travels abroad, works on an oil rig or is deployed, and who wants to move the chat off the site fast.
  • Run a reverse image search on photos that look too polished.
  • Meet in a public place the first time and tell a friend where you are going.
  • Report fakes on the site, and report scams at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

International matching, which InterracialCupid encourages, carries the most risk, because distance is the classic excuse for never meeting. My guide to online dating scams walks through the common scripts, and the safest dating apps ranking compares verification tools.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best interracial dating site?

For most people it is a big mainstream app: Hinge for a relationship, Match if you are 30+ and serious, OkCupid if you want to stay free. If you want a site where everyone has opted into interracial dating, InterracialCupid is the strongest dedicated option, with 1M+ Android downloads and an app updated in October 2026.

Where do interracial couples meet?

Pew Research found newlyweds in metro areas were more likely to be intermarried than those outside them, 18% versus 11% in 2015, so cities and the big apps used there are where most mixed couples come from. Online, that means large apps like Hinge, Match and OkCupid, plus dedicated sites such as InterracialCupid or AfroRomance.

What is a swirler in dating?

Swirl or swirling is slang for interracial dating, most often between Black and white partners, and a swirler is someone open to it. Swirlr, the dating site, takes its name from the term. Some people like the label and others find it dated, so many simply say interracial dating.

Which ethnicity has the most interracial couples?

In Pew Research data on 2015 newlyweds, Asian (29%) and Hispanic (27%) newlyweds were the most likely to marry someone of a different race or ethnicity, followed by Black (18%) and white (11%) newlyweds. The most common mixed pairing was one Hispanic and one white spouse, at 42% of intermarried newlyweds.

Which ethnicity is least desired on dating apps?

No major app publishes current data on this, and old figures passed around online are not a reliable guide today. If bias is a worry, a dedicated interracial site where everyone has opted in removes some of the guesswork, and on any app you can block and report messages that reduce you to your race.

Are there interracial dating sites for South Africa and other countries?

Yes. InterracialCupid, from Cupid Media, lets you search locally or worldwide and offers message translation on paid plans, so it works for meeting people in South Africa or elsewhere. Long-distance matches carry the highest scam risk: never send money to someone you have not met in person.
