Fiorry Review 2026: Real Profiles or Scam?
The Fiorry dating app is a real, actively updated app for trans, nonbinary and gender-diverse people and their cis allies, so it is not a scam in itself, but fake profiles and scammers are the number one complaint about it. It has 4.4 stars on the App Store but only 2.5 on Google Play, the free version is thin, and paid plans run from $5 to $52 a month depending on how you pay. Try it free, talk only to verified profiles, and pay for the annual plan only if you find real people near you.
What is the Fiorry dating app, and who runs it?
Fiorry describes itself as a dating and social app for trans women, trans men, nonbinary and gender-diverse people, and the cisgender people who want to date them. It works on iPhone and Android and has been around, under the name Fiori at first, "since 2020", according to its About page. The website claims 2,100,000+ registered users in 50+ countries.
Two companies sit behind it, which no other page about Fiorry mentions:
- PARADIZ SOCIAL LTD, a UK company in Chester, is the operator. Fiorry's terms and conditions make your contract with this company, under English law.
- DREAMTEK THRILL APPS LTD is the developer listed on the App Store and on Google Play, with an address in Limassol, Cyprus. The terms say it owns the software and licenses it to Fiorry.
Split structures like this are common in the app business and do not make Fiorry shady. They do mean that if something goes wrong, your contract is with a UK company and your payment went through Apple or Google.
Who Fiorry is for
Fiorry is 18+ only. At sign-up you pick from cis man, cis woman, trans man, trans woman, queer, nonbinary or crossdresser, per its how-to guide. In practice, app reviews describe a pool where cis men looking for trans women are the loudest group, and trans users looking for other trans people say they have to wade through them.
- Might suit: trans women open to dating cis men, cis allies who want a space where being with a trans partner is the point, and anyone in a large city who wants a trans-focused app on top of a mainstream one.
- Think twice if: you are a trans man or nonbinary person looking for other trans people (reviews say they are hard to find), you live in a small town, or you are not willing to spot and report scams.
How Fiorry works
You sign up with Google, Facebook or email, add at least three photos and up to 10 interests, and can fill in an optional 22-question compatibility survey. Fiorry then scores people from 0 to 100% on overall fit, life goals, sex, lifestyle, mindset and habits. The official guide covers the rest:
- WOWs: swipe right on a profile card to send a WOW, Fiorry's like. You can also browse the list of active users instead of swiping.
- Message requests: you choose which incoming chats to accept.
- Filters: photos only, verified users, online, new, interested in your gender, age range. You can also look up a member by profile ID or search other regions and countries.
- T4T space: an optional trans-for-trans area. The website says it used to sit behind paid Invisible Mode and is now free.
- Invisible mode: browse without showing up in other people's lists.
There is no official desktop app. The "Fiorry on PC" download pages you may find are Android emulators running the phone app.
Free vs paid: Fiorry prices in 2026
Fiorry is free to download and has two paid tiers, Fiorry Plus and Fiorry Unlimited. Neither the website nor the store description lists what each tier adds; the subscription screen shown in the how-to guide advertises unlimited messaging, user search, "See who likes you" and incognito mode. What the free version leaves out comes from user reports: one user review quoted on a review aggregator says the free account ran out after about 5 WOWs, and a May 2026 Google Play review says "most of the useful filters are locked out", including the one that would show only verified users.
These are the US prices from the App Store listing. Prices vary by country, and the store lists two prices for several plans, likely older and newer price points.
| Plan | Billing | Price (US) |
|---|---|---|
| Plus | Weekly | $5.99 or $6.99 |
| Plus | Monthly | $15.99 or $17.99 |
| Unlimited | Weekly | $11.99 |
| Unlimited | Monthly | $29.99 |
| Unlimited | Monthly, 3-day trial | $29.99 after the trial |
| Unlimited | Annual | $59.99 or $69.99 |
| Bronze Gift | One-off | $2.99 |
Prices checked October 2026 on the US App Store. Google Play does not list its prices publicly; the app shows them before you pay.
What Fiorry really costs per month
The weekly plans look cheap and are the most expensive way in. At 52 weeks a year, Unlimited weekly at $11.99 comes to about $52 a month and Plus weekly at $5.99 to about $26, more than Plus monthly at $15.99 ($16). Unlimited monthly is $30. The annual Unlimited plan is by far the cheapest: $69.99 a year is $5.83 a month, and $59.99 is $5.00.

My rule: do not pay weekly. If the free version shows you real, verified people near you, the annual plan is the only one that is good value. Watch the 3-day Unlimited trial: unless you cancel before it ends, it renews at $29.99. One reviewer on a review aggregator says they were charged for a full year after a trial they meant to decline, so check which plan the trial rolls into before you tap.
The Transition Funding Program
The Google Play description says Fiorry sponsors some users' gender affirmation goals with financial aid, paid for by Plus and Unlimited revenue, and sends you to its website for details. In October 2026 neither the homepage nor the About page mentions the program: no criteria, amounts or recipients are published. Treat it as a stated intention, not a reason to subscribe.
Safety, privacy and verification
Fiorry's privacy tools are its strongest point, and they also answer the "most discreet dating app" question for trans users. According to its store listing and guide, you can:
- hide your profile from specific age and gender groups (for example cis men), and hide your age or location;
- browse in invisible mode;
- delete messages, photos and whole chats on both ends, and send self-deleting images;
- block, report or hide any profile, and suspend your account without deleting it.
Verification is where Fiorry's own claims disagree. The App Store description promises photo verification on every profile, and the website says unverified accounts cannot message, appear in search or use core features. Yet a May 2026 Google Play review says "nearly everyone you see is unverified", and in a July 2024 reply to a reviewer the developer itself advised users to "engage with verified profiles", which means unverified ones are there. The March 2026 update (version 5.1.1) promises stronger protection against bots and fake accounts. The safe reading: verification exists (selfies matched against your photos), it is not universal, and the verified badge is the one thing to check before you reply.
Fiorry's community guidelines ban requests for money, gift cards or "investment opportunities", escorting, impersonation, multiple accounts and threats to out someone. Reports go through automated checks and human review, with no guaranteed outcome.
On data, the App Store privacy label says purchases and identifiers may be used to track you across other companies' apps, and Google Play says device IDs may be shared with third parties. Location, contact info and usage data are also collected.
Real profiles or scam? Fake profiles and complaints
The ratings tell two stories. On the US App Store Fiorry has 4.4 stars from 2.9K ratings; on Google Play it has 2.5 stars from 1.82K reviews, with 500K+ downloads (both checked October 2026). The written reviews on both stores repeat the same complaints:
- Fake profiles and bots: stolen photos, profiles that turn out to be "hundreds of miles away", and people who say they are deployed in the military.
- Money and document requests: reviewers describe being asked for money, a driver's license, pay stubs or tax forms, and profiles selling "services".
- Chasers: trans users report harassment from cis men they had filtered out.
- Few local users: distance filtering is weak or paid, so matches can be very far away.
- Support: accounts stuck "under review" and slow or no replies from support.
There are positive reviews too, from trans women who met respectful people and liked having an app made for them. And 500K+ Android downloads sits awkwardly next to the "2,100,000+ registered users" claim: registered accounts over six years, many inactive, are not the same as people online near you.
So: Fiorry is a real app, not a scam, but scammers clearly use it. The patterns in the reviews are textbook romance scams as the FTC describes them: a match who cannot meet because they are abroad or in the military, a push to move to text or email, then a request for money, gift cards or crypto. Never send money or ID documents to someone you met on Fiorry, reverse-image search photos and video call before meeting (both on Fiorry's own safety tips), meet in a public place, and report scams in the app and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
A note on words
Some people find Fiorry by searching for "ladyboy" dating. That word comes from Thailand, where trans women are also called kathoey, and many trans women outside that context find it objectifying. If you want to date trans women, say so plainly, and use an app where they are the community rather than a category. I do not rank countries by their people. Fiorry operates in 50+ countries, including the US, the UK and Thailand, and its community guidelines expect respectful language.

- 2.5 stars on Google Play.
- Thin free version: few WOWs, key filters paid.
- Weekly plans cost up to $52 a month; a trial rolls into $29.99.

How to cancel Fiorry and delete your account
Cancelling and deleting are two separate steps, and deleting the app does neither.
- Cancel the subscription where you paid. On iPhone, go to Settings, your name, Subscriptions (Apple's guide). On Android, open Google Play, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions (Google's guide). Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date: that is when the store charges the next period.
- Ask for a refund from the store, not Fiorry. The terms say App Store and Google Play purchases follow Apple's and Google's refund rules. UK and EEA users may also have a 14-day right to cancel, which can be lost once paid features start. Fiorry caps its total liability at ยฃ25.
- Delete the account in the app: Settings, Suspend account, Delete my account. If you are locked out, email support@fiorry.co from the address linked to your account. "Suspend" alone only hides your profile.
Fiorry alternatives
If Fiorry's pool is too thin or too full of fakes where you live, a larger LGBTQ+ or mainstream app with good gender options may serve you better. With a live review here:
- Taimi: an LGBTQ+ dating and social app I rated 4 out of 5; the May 2026 Google Play reviewer quoted above went back to it.
- OkCupid: a big mainstream app with detailed profiles and questions, rated 4 out of 5.
- Her: for LGBTQ+ women and queer people, rated 4 out of 5.
- Lex: a text-first queer community app, rated 3.5 out of 5.

How I rate it
My 2.5 out of 5 is based on public pricing, features, safety tools, app store reputation and value, not on hands-on use. Value for money 2 (thin free tier, weekly plans up to $52 a month, but annual Unlimited at $5 to $5.83 a month), safety and verification 2.5 (selfie verification, report and block, strong privacy tools, but verification is not universal and fake-profile reports are constant), evidence of an active user base 2.5 (500K+ Android downloads, 2.9K App Store ratings and updates in 2026, against reviews about few local users), features for its audience 3.5 (T4T space, hiding from groups, invisible mode, two-sided deletion, compatibility scores), transparency 2.5 (auto-renewal and cancellation stated, but plan contents and the funding program are not published, and two companies share the brand). Average 2.6, rounded to 2.5.
Frequently asked questions
Is Fiorry a legit dating app?
Yes, Fiorry is a real app run by PARADIZ SOCIAL LTD in the UK, developed by DREAMTEK THRILL APPS LTD, and updated as recently as March 2026. It is not a scam itself, but app store reviews report many fake profiles, bots and money scams, so only talk to verified profiles and never send money.
Is Fiorry free?
Fiorry is free to download and you can make a profile, browse and use the T4T space without paying. User reviews say the free version is limited, with only a handful of WOWs and key filters such as verified users behind Plus or Unlimited.
How much does Fiorry cost?
On the US App Store in October 2026, Plus costs $5.99 or $6.99 a week or $15.99 or $17.99 a month, and Unlimited costs $11.99 a week, $29.99 a month or $59.99 to $69.99 a year. The annual plan works out to $5 to $5.83 a month, while weekly Unlimited comes to about $52 a month.
What's the most discreet dating app?
For trans users, Fiorry is among the more discreet options: you can hide your profile from certain genders and ages, hide your age or location, browse in invisible mode and delete chats and photos on both ends. No app is fully private, so keep personal details off your profile until you trust someone.
What is the best dating site for ladyboys?
Many trans women find the word ladyboy objectifying outside Thailand, so it helps to search for trans or trans-inclusive dating instead. Fiorry is built for trans people and their allies; larger LGBTQ+ apps such as Taimi or mainstream apps with good gender options are alternatives.
What is butterfly dating?
Butterfly is a separate trans dating app from DM CUBED LTD, not a Fiorry feature. On the US App Store it has 3.2 stars from 23 ratings and its last update was in July 2025 (checked October 2026).
