LovesMoments Review 2026: Real Profiles or Scam?
The LovesMoments dating site (lovesmoments.com) is a real, working website, but I would not pay for it. It is a browser-based chat site, barely a year old, run by a company it does not name, where signing up is free and almost every conversation costs credits at prices it does not publish. Many public reviews describe AI-looking profiles and costs that climb fast, so treat it as paid chat entertainment at best, not a place to find a real date.
What is Lovesmoments, and who runs it?
Lovesmoments presents itself as an online dating and social site built around messaging and profile discovery. Its own feature video on Facebook shows a People page for browsing profiles, a one-tap Wink, a Following list that shows who is online, and the usual profile and settings tools. You use it at lovesmoments.com in a web browser on a phone or a computer.
Who is behind it is the first problem. The domain was registered on June 6, 2025, according to the public registry record, so the site is only about 16 months old. The owner hides behind a privacy service, which ScamAdviser flags along with the warning that a very young site with heavy traffic deserves caution. The company’s Trustpilot business profile gives no company name, lists the business in the United States and gives one contact, support@lovesmoments.help.
I could not settle the operator question at the source: lovesmoments.com blocks automated visitors, including the research tools I use, so I could not open its terms, privacy policy or price list. Those are the pages where a legal company name and address normally appear. Before you pay, open the terms yourself and look for both. A dating site that takes your card but will not say who it is gives you a good reason to walk away.
Who it is for (and who should skip it)
Traffic estimates from Similarweb (September 2026) put about 97% of its visits in the US, with a slightly female-leaning audience and 45 to 54 as the largest age group. Those are third-party estimates, not company data, and the same page shows traffic falling month over month.
- Might suit: adults who want online chat only, understand it is paid entertainment, and can stop at a fixed budget.
- Skip it if: you want to meet someone offline, you are on a tight budget, or you have been burned by a romance scam before.
- Not for: anyone under 18.
How it works: profiles, winks and chat
From the brand’s own video, the one blog review in Google’s results and the company’s replies to reviews, the flow is simple: sign up free, add a photo (the company says profile photos must show a face), browse the People page with filters such as age and gender, send Winks or likes, follow profiles you like, and start chatting. The blog review also describes a newsfeed where members post updates and photos.
What users report beyond that:
- Messages come to you. Several Trustpilot reviewers mention lots of automated-feeling messages and icebreakers that do not match their own profile.
- Contact details cost a lot. One September 2026 reviewer wrote that you need to spend “around 2,500 USD” before you can ask for someone’s contact details. I cannot verify that figure, but it fits the pattern of a site that earns more the longer you stay in its chat.
- Basic tools are thin. Reviewers on ProductReview.com.au and SmartCustomer complain about an inbox with no folders or sorting, awkward photo cropping and location filters that show people far outside the chosen area.
If you do try it, a full profile and specific openers (a question about something in their bio) work better than “hey”, as on any site. Just keep the cost section below in mind before you start a long conversation.
Is the Lovesmoments dating site free? How the credits work
Signing up, building a profile and browsing are free. Talking is not. In its Trustpilot replies the company says it “uses a credit-based model for certain interactive features”, that “credits are only spent on the features you actively choose to use” and that buying them is “always optional”. Reviewers say credits are charged for messages and for opening photos and media files, and one complains about paying “for minutes and sending emails”.
Prices are not published anywhere I could open (checked October 2026). The site blocked my access and its review-platform profiles list no prices. One UK reviewer on Trustpilot’s 1-star page quoted £19.99 for 45 credits and 20p per minute of chat. That is one user’s report, not an official price list, so treat it as a rough warning rather than a fact. Another reviewer on SmartCustomer said the free credits run out before you can tell whether the site is worth it, and a Canadian reviewer said pricing rises the more you use it.
The one upside of credits: there is no monthly subscription that renews on its own. The downside is that there is no ceiling either, which is exactly how a chat site makes its money.
How to keep the cost under control
None of the pages ranking for this search explain how to protect your wallet. If you try it anyway:
- Decide your total budget before you sign up and buy the smallest pack. Never top up mid-conversation.
- Check the price per message and per minute on the purchase page before you pay, and screenshot it.
- Keep every receipt email, and note the merchant name on your card statement. If it does not say Lovesmoments, write it down: it is the company you are really paying.
- Pay with a card you can dispute (a credit card or a virtual card with a limit), never a gift card, wire or crypto.
- If you were charged for something you did not approve, email support@lovesmoments.help first, then ask your bank or card issuer to dispute the charge.
Real profiles or scam? Fake profiles and complaints
This is what most people searching the Lovesmoments dating site want to know. Public opinion splits hard, and the numbers need context:
| Platform | Score | What stands out |
|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 3.6 / 5 from 1,230 reviews | 52% five-star, 22% one-star. Profile claimed by the company in July 2025, with a paid Trustpilot subscription; it invites customers to review. Complaints: AI-looking photos, automated messages, expensive credits. |
| ProductReview.com.au | 4.0 / 5 from 11 reviews | Mostly short positive notes on friendly chats and quick support; complaints about the inbox, photo cropping and location filters. |
| SmartCustomer | 4.1 / 5 from 30 reviews | The business sent 75 review invitations in 12 months; many reviews are labeled “Automated Invitation”. Complaints: free credits too few, rising costs, filters ignored. |
Scores checked October 2026. Notice the shape: a big block of five-star reviews, many of them invited and only a line long, against a large block of one-star reviews that name specific problems. On Trustpilot’s 1-star page (October 2026), reviewers write “Don’t charge me for credits since most of the photos are AI”, “Too much AI messaging” and that the profiles are fake. A user on Reddit asked “Is lovesmoments legit?” in a thread that ranks first on Google for this search.
The company’s answer is always similar: it replies that “many profiles on the platform are verified” according to its terms, and that it has a zero-tolerance policy for fraud. Note the word many: its own Trustpilot description says “many users can be verified through our third-party identity verification process”, not all, and it does not explain what the check involves or show which profiles passed it. I cannot prove any single profile is fake. But very available, very attractive members, paid photos, per-minute chat and a high price for contact details are the classic pay-to-chat model, which is why the verdict box above is red.
Is there a Lovesmoments app?
No. I found no Lovesmoments app on the US App Store or Google Play in October 2026, and the company talks about “mobile-website access”, meaning you use the site in your phone’s browser. The “LoveMoments” app on the App Store is an unrelated couples app made by an independent developer, for partners who are already together. Do not install look-alike apps hoping to reach lovesmoments.com.
Safety: red flags and how to report
A credit chat site attracts real scammers on top of any paid chatters. One September 2026 Trustpilot reviewer says she lost more than $4,700 to someone she met there; the company replied that it had forwarded her information. Pew Research found that 52% of Americans who have used dating sites or apps came across someone they thought was trying to scam them (Pew, 2023). The FTC’s romance scam guide lists the signs, and they all apply here:
- They claim to be in love quickly but live far away, often abroad, in the military or on an oil rig.
- They want to move you to another app or to email fast.
- They ask for money for a ticket, a visa, medical bills, legal trouble or a crypto “investment”.
- They want payment by gift card, wire, money transfer app or crypto, and they rush you.
The basics: never send money or gifts to someone you have not met in person, run a reverse image search on their photos, keep your workplace, address and last name private, verify with a live video call before any meeting, and meet in a public place with a friend who knows where you are. Report profiles to support@lovesmoments.help, and if you have lost money, call your bank right away and report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Free to sign up, build a profile and browse
- No auto-renewing subscription: you buy credits as you go
- Works in any browser, nothing to install
- Replies to almost every negative review and has a support email
Cons
- No public price list; credits per message, per minute and per photo, per reviewers
- Owner not named on any page I could open; domain only registered in June 2025
- Frequent reports of AI-looking photos and automated messages
- Verification covers “many” users at best, with no public detail
- Reviewers say contact details cost a lot to unlock, which keeps you paying on-site
- Thin inbox and filter tools, according to several reviewers
How to stop paying and delete your Lovesmoments account
Because Lovesmoments sells credits rather than a subscription, there is usually nothing to cancel: you stop paying by not buying more. Still, do three things:
- Remove your saved card in the site’s payment or billing settings, so nothing can be charged by mistake.
- Delete the account from your profile settings. If you cannot find the option, email support@lovesmoments.help from the address you registered with and ask for deletion of your account and data in writing. The company says complex issues are resolved within five business days.
- Watch your statement for a month. Dispute any charge you did not approve with your card issuer.
I could not open the site’s terms, so I cannot tell you its refund rules. Assume credits you have spent will not come back.
Lovesmoments alternatives
If what you want is a real date, use a site with a published price and a track record. With a live review here:
- Match: long-running subscription site for serious dating, rated 4 out of 5.
- eHarmony: compatibility matching for people who want a relationship, rated 4 out of 5.
- OkCupid: a large mainstream app with a useful free tier, rated 4 out of 5.
- Dating.com: if international chat is what drew you to Lovesmoments, look here. In my Dating.com review I found it is also pay-per-action, but it has iOS and Android apps and photo, ID or phone verification. Rated 3 out of 5.

How I rate it
My 2 out of 5 is based on public pricing, features, safety tools, app store reputation and value, not on hands-on use. Value for money 1.5 (free to browse, but credits per message and per minute with no public prices, and reviewers report large totals), safety and verification 2 (third-party verification for “many” users, report and support email, but steady fake-profile complaints and no detail on checks), evidence of an active user base 2.5 (1,200+ Trustpilot reviews in a year and sizable traffic estimates, against many invited one-line reviews), features for its audience 2.5 (browse, Wink, follow, newsfeed, but no app and a thin inbox), transparency 1 (no named operator, no price list or terms I could open). Average 1.9, rounded to 2.
Frequently asked questions
Is LoveMoments a legit site?
Lovesmoments is a real, working website with over a thousand recent reviews, so it is not a vanish-overnight scam. But it does not name its owner, publishes no prices and charges credits for chatting, and many reviewers describe AI-looking profiles. I would not pay for it if you want to meet someone in person.
Is Lovesmoments free?
Signing up, building a profile and browsing are free. Messages, media and chat time cost credits, according to the company's own replies and user reports, and no official price list could be opened in October 2026. You only see real prices after you join.
Does Lovesmoments have an app?
No. There is no Lovesmoments app on the US App Store or Google Play as of October 2026; you use the site in a mobile or desktop browser. The LoveMoments app on the App Store is an unrelated couples app.
Which dating site has the highest success rate?
No dating site publishes success rates that can be compared fairly. Pew Research found that 10% of partnered US adults met their partner online, so pick a large site with a published price and plenty of members near you rather than trusting any site's own success claims.
What does ggg mean in dating?
GGG stands for "good, giving and game": a partner who is considerate, generous and open to the other person's wishes within their own limits. You may see it in profiles on open-minded dating apps.
Which dating app is best for older people?
Older singles usually do best on sites built for them or on long-running subscription sites with clear prices, rather than credit chat sites. My senior dating sites rankings compare the main options for people over 50.
