I've been on a cougar hunt recently, and TBH, it hasn't been going too well. The cougar sites and apps that I've been finding have been outdated and usually lacking a mobile app. I was talking to one of my cougar-loving friends, and asked them if they know of any updated cougar sites that have an app. They recommended that I check out OlderWomenDating - so I downloaded the app ASAP.
The OlderWomenDating.com site has a lot of testimonials on the homepage from both men and women, and seems to be built out as a more legit cougar dating site than some of the others. The membership is also global, so fingers crossed there’s a lot of matches for me here!
OlderWomenDating reviews I checked out also found it to be a pretty good dating site, so I’m excited to try it out. Let’s dive into who OlderWomenDating is for, what the features are, and one my fave (and not so fave!) parts of it were.
OlderWomenDating has been around since 2001 and is part of the Successful Match dating platform, along with other dating sites such as: BiCupid, MillionaireMatch (which I’ve been scoping out myself!), SeniorMatch, and more… so they’re legit and here to stay.

Basically, OlderWomenDating.com is for those who have a less traditional style of dating – which is usually referred to as “age gap” dating. Older women can meet youthful men (and women!) to date long-term, OR casually even though it’s not really marketed that way.
What happened once I signed up for OlderWomenDating.com?

OlderWomenDating is easy to use! Basically, once you sign up, you’ll be able to find cougars if you’re a cub, and vice versa. After I went through the registration process, I was automatically given a free (aka Standard) member that has basic capabilities such as sending winks, creating a profile, and searching for users by country/state.
There are a number of free features you can use on the site, but if you want to do something like messaging, you’ll need to sign up for the paid membership.

How to cancel Older Women Dating profile: Deactivating is easy, just go to where your profile pic is, click on settings, my account, and enter password. Then click on the link provided to disable or delete your account and follow the steps.

OMG, yes!!! I am so excited because this is the first cougar dating site I've seen where I can download the app either from the App Store or on Google Play. I can also use the mobile version on any electronic devices such as laptop, tablet, and phone.

I was really excited to see that I had options when it came to signing up with Older Women Dating. Most cougar dating sites have an outdated signup process, so I was happy to see that I could sign up using either my laptop or by downloading the app on my phone!
PS: Later on, you’ll have the option of hooking up your Facebook account to add photos if that’s your jam.
1. First step is to to add some basic info about me such as:

2. Next, I enter my email address to create an account. I also need to read the service agreement, privacy policy and prove I'm not a robot.
3. Then I continue creating my account and add my gender again. I can also pick who I'm looking for (again) but I can click on BOTH male and female here - yay!!
4. I create a password that's unique (like me!), add my city/state, and enter my age.
5. Time for a user name! I have to think of a clever one that others will see and find interesting. Here's also where I can plug in my referral code to get access to extra Premium days. 👀BRB, bugging my friends!
6. I add my height on this cool lil’ ruler.
7. Now it’s time to add my ethnicity. I'm happy to see several choices for this! BTW, if you look at the bottom of the screenshot, you'll see that I'm only on the 2nd sign up category page out of 6…I'm keeping my wine bottle close by just in case LOL!
8. Okay, so at this point, something weird happened…after I wrote the 7th step, I went to go back to the Older Women Dating registration page, but it must have timed out because all I saw was a sign in page. I filled out my email, gave my newly created password, and ventured on!
For this step, I add what my relationship status is. I can choose anything from single, to married, separated, widowed etc.
8. Now I get to create a catchy profile headline to attract some cougars! You have up to 50 characters here. Make them count.
9. Next up, the “about me” style box. Time to do a shameless plug of myself! I can use this space to write about who I'm looking for, what I'm looking for, and who I am. They give you up to 4,000 characters which is a decent amount!
At this point, I was THIS close to the home stretch, but Older Women Dating had flagged my account for some reason - but FYI there is one more step after this one.
I can definitely appreciate how clear and concise the Older Women Dating profiles are! It was easy for me to spot what I was looking for. The profiles included,
There’s also public vs. private photos – you can create a private photo album that others can request access to! I’ve seen this on other dating sites but I still like the feature a lot.
I also appreciated how I could immediately send a message to the person from their profile instead of jumping through hoops - this site doesn't play!

I really love the ability to connect freely with others. That along with the advanced search features made it a bit easier to find potential matches, since I wasn’t just a sitting duck waiting for someone to reach out to me!

Older Women Dating was refreshing because it was the most modern looking cougar dating site I have seen so far. Here's what else I liked about Older Women Dating:

You can't win everything, right? Here's where OlderWomenDating missed the mark a little:
❌ Limited access as a basic member.
❌ It took me a few tries before I could sign up with my Gmail account. I read a few Older Women Dating reviews, and this was a fairly common issue with the site.
❌ No way of knowing when a person was last online.
❌ The gender ratio is off - way more men than women.
❌There doesn’t seem to be strong moderation to keep this focused on older women dating younger men/women. It essentially lets anyone of any age match.
Older Women Dating is one of my favorite cougar dating apps so far! The only problem is that signing up can be a bad B, so be patient and have a few email address accounts on hand. Once you do get into the site, you will definitely want to hang out there for a bit as it blows away the competition.
The pricing seemed to be on par with most other sites, though maybe erring a bit on the higher side if you’re only signing up for a month! Since you can’t use the free version and purchase credits instead, like some other sites, you’re stuck paying the full fee for the month.
I found it was super simple to use, didn’t have a lot of unnecessary features, and had a large user base so it wasn’t a ghost town when searching for other singles. Were there some things I’d improve? Sure. But I def think it’s worth using.
