If you followed my journey through checking out different sugar daddy and sugar baby dating site reviews, then you know Iām open to new experiences. So when I heard about CougarPourMoi from (youuu guessed it) one of my girlfriends, I knew I had to take a look for myself! This girlfriend in particular is someone I met at work and technically qualifies as a cougar, so knowing she recommended it while being on the other side of dating gave me hope!
I may not be a cougar just yet, but Iām definitely not opposed to a good time with a more experienced older woman. So I grabbed a glass of courage (also known as sauvignon blanc) and gave it a shot. From what I could see, CougarPourMoi reviews said it was a pretty good dating platform with decent success rates.

They donāt have options on this site for saying what kind of relationship youāre looking for (a fling, serious, or something in between). So I think itās meant to be more casual. CougarPourMoi.com probably isnāt where Iād recommend going for true love, but itās not impossible that it could happen!
I read some other Cougar Pour Moi reviews and it appears that the site was aimed at Europeans (mostly French ā queue surprise!) people first, but has expanded to be worldwide. I had plenty of users in my area and it appears there are roughly 200k users on the site altogether. Even though thatās much less than some other sites who have upwards of a million users, itās still pretty solid for a niche cougar dating site.
Obvi one of the first things I look at for every dating site review is whether itās legit or not. If something gives me the ick, Iām out.
So is CougarPourMoi legit?
From the beginning, Cougar Pour Moi felt pretty solid. The homepage is nice. Itās simple, but itās got everything you need to get started with no guessing needed. The sign up process was super simple (more on that shortly) but I liked that I had to enter in a verification code to continue. That helped me feel like there might be fewer fake profiles or bots on the site.
I will say I had one incident right at the beginning that felt weird to me. Before Iād even uploaded a picture or done anything with a profile, I had two messages from members. One said I looked just like what she needed ( šļøššļø) but that felt off because I had nothing on there!
The second asked if I wanted a gf or just a female friend, but since it also came before I had finished the sign up process, I didnāt feel confident that it wasnāt a bot or spam account. Beyond those, though, everything felt pretty solid so maybe they were just fast on hitting up the newest users!
There arenāt a ton of features on the CougarPourMoi.com site, but the navigation feels easy. It helps me feel like the site is legit, just on the simpler side of some other dating sites Iāve reviewed. Nothing wrong with keeping it simple though, right?

You have to click the top right hand drop-down menu then select āGet Supportā and find the verification option under the āAccount Managementā section. This instructs you on how to get your account verified, but you have to physically call them to do so (and who wants to do that??). It didnāt feel as user-friendly as it could have been.
Is there a Cougar Pour Moi app? Thereās not, but it was my experience and the opinions of other CougarPourMoi.com reviews I read that the mobile site is pretty user friendly.
How to delete Cougar Pour Moi account: Deleting a Cougar Pour Moi account is pretty straightforward. Click on āMy Settingsā from either the top right corner drop-down menu or the tab on your profile page. The Cougar Pour Moi sign up process was soooo easy! Honestly, itās one of the easiest ones Iāve ever experienced and I was stoked to just get started. That said, thereās def more detail you can add to your profile after the initial sign up process like details around salary, religion, piercings or tattoos, eye color, and more.

Right off the bat, the Cougar Pour Moi homepage had me select who I am and who Iām looking for, age, location, email, and password. I clicked āStart Now!ā and was basically halfway done!
I was immediately taken to a verification page to confirm Iām a real person! I liked this because it made me feel like CougarPourMoi is a bit more legit and doing what they can to keep out the fake accounts or bots. I checked my email to get the verification code, entered it, and done.

That was it! After that, I was dropped onto the main feed so it felt really fast and streamlined.
Keeping the profiles pretty simple and picture/video focused made me feel like this site was really developed for fun, casual dating versus some more traditional dating sites where I had to fill out eleventy-million things just to start browsing.
On the main feed page, I could instantly see that Cougar Pour Moi was a little light on the features, but was easy to navigate and use for connecting with people fast.

Okay real talk, the Cougar Pour Moi search capabilities are pretty basic compared to other dating sites Iāve tried. As I said earlier, I think itās because this is really aimed at being more of a casual dating site meant for finding a fling instead of something serious, but I was still a little surprised by the very limited search filters even after you select āAdvanced Parameters.ā
Still though, the search features on Cougar Pour Moi do work and you can use them as a free member.
Basic Search: The basic search parameters are sex, age, and location (with options for within 20, 50, and 100 miles). They also give you options to see users with photos or who have videos plus filters to users online now or new members.

The thing is, there are more fields you can fill out on your profile to give a little bit more info about yourself, so I was kinda surprised things like income didnāt show up as search filters. Paid members get āextended searchā but thatās just the ability to click āView Moreā and see more profiles (I thought the number of profiles that load for free members was honestly pretty generous).
Like Gallery: Before I move on to exploring the rest and considering upgrading my account, letās make a pit stop at the Like Gallery! This is similar to Tinder style swiping, where they match you up and you can āXā āā„ļøā or ā š¬ā Free members get 100 profile views, and I noticed that theyāre pulling in from a āpartner networkā which is a first. š¤

The Cougar Pour Moi site doesnāt make it super hard to look at profiles, but if you want to see full-size photos and videos, youāll have to upgrade to a paid membership. The profiles themselves are pretty basic, continuing my assumption that itās meant to be a pretty casual site for connecting for a fling versus something more serious.
Paid members are able to see 'Looking for' info, which is just age, sex, and location. Unlike other dating sites, when I was putting together my Cougar Pour Moi review I noticed there is no place for you to type in personal bios or anything on your profile. It makes it just a little challenging to show off your personality, so make sure youāre uploading your most š„pics to get attention!
I noticed here that it has a āPartner Networkā highlighted, just like the Like Gallery. Itās not news to me that some dating sites are affiliated with one another and they had already given me an option to have my profile promoted places (presumably affiliated dating sites) but I was surprised they were so transparent about where a profile was being pulled from.
In one way, I liked that transparency and it added to the feeling of validity for Cougar Pour Moi. On the other hand, it made me wonder how many of the profiles I was seeing were actually looking for a cougar-style relationship for older women dating younger people and how many were just cross-posted automatically.

Since they showcase profiles from partner sites, however, I donāt know how many of the nearby users I was seeing were really looking for cougar dating though. I was a bit weary about getting messages before I even set up my full profile, so as long as youāre filtering out those kinds of accounts, thereās some legit ones to connect with.
Clearly I had a lot to report back to my friends after finishing my Cougar Pour Moi review. I think some of them will be checking it out, too! The short-term trial periods make it really easy and low-risk to give it a try.
