This might surprise some, but lately I've been finding myself connecting better with people who are more mature. They just seem to have a better grasp on life and know what they want out of it, which is something I sometimes struggle with. That kind of confidence is extremely attractive, which is why I've been checking out the cougars lately!

Using MatureDates.com is pretty simple. Once you sign up and fill out your profile, you have a few options! You can look at your main feed which gives you popular members and new members to choose from.
You can also browse through members on the site with a quick search (age group and distance) or using different advanced search filters (ie, age, gender, whether or not they have a picture, how far away they are from you). If you like someone, you can either “like” their profile, send them a message, or icebreakers, which I’ve actually come to love recently!)
Side note: I thought the cams would be for actual members and was pretty excited (even though I don’t personally broadcast) but looks like it just goes to str!pchat.com. 😑It’s not a native MatureDates.com feature!
Right from the start, MatureDates asked me for an email address to verify my account. This is their way to help ward off the bots. When I went to upload my pic, I was advised that my profile would go through a verification process and my pic had to get approved first.

Signing up on Mature Dates was super easy! I was done registering in 2 easy steps, which allowed me to focus my time on finding a date rather than registering for a site. Here's what I had to do to sign up for the Mature Dates dating site:
Signing up begins right on the homepage! I was able to choose whether I was looking for a man or a woman (but not both!) and by location.
And surprise… I'm almost done! I can connect with Google for a super easy signup or I can fill out my age, nickname, and email.
In 2 easy steps I am done registering for Maturedates.com! I just need to click on the link that gets emailed to me in order to activate my account. At this point, I am told that my profile will go through a verification process.

MatureDates definitely got me interested in dating outside my age range. However, I didn’t like that I couldn’t send messages without credits after paying to be a Premium Member, and how they kept showing me men on my feed despite my preferences being for women. They must do that automatically because they assume women are cougars seeking younger men, but why have the option then!?
I did mostly see legit profiles out there and connected with members that didn’t appear to be spammy, which was great. Like other MatureDates reviews said, I think the majority of the fake profiles are women trying to meet men, so if you’re a guy reading this – be cautious!
The site useability was easy and simple to navigate, and there were plenty of members in my area to match with which was great. The whole “we have webcams” thing was a bit weird since they direct you over to an adult site for it, so I’m not quite sure what the affiliate is there.
Did I find the cougar I was looking for? While my choices were somewhat limited because it’s a niche cougar dating site, I def got a taste of the mature life and I can't look back! Brb, chatting up some members.
