NaomiDate Review 2026: Real Profiles or Scam?
NaomiDate is a real, working website run by a Cyprus company, so it is not a fake site, but it is a pay-per-message chat platform, not a dating site where you can expect to meet someone. Sign-up and browsing are free, while every chat minute, photo and follow-up message costs credits, and its own rules say the members you talk to can be verified "Pro Users" who message for free while you pay. I would not spend money on the NaomiDate dating site, especially if you are hoping to meet an Asian woman in person.
What NaomiDate is and who runs it
NaomiDate (naomidate.com) is an international dating website aimed at Western men who want to talk with women from Asia. Third-party reviews and Google's own summary describe profiles from the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Thailand and Indonesia, and some sites in the results pitch it to men over 45. The domain was registered in May 2023, per the public domain registry. It works only in a web browser: in October 2026 I found no NaomiDate app on the App Store or Google Play, and the apps with similar names there are unrelated.
The company behind it is Astrasoft Projects Ltd, registered in Limassol, Cyprus, "together with its affiliated company" Lumintix Solutions Limited of Liverpool, UK, according to section 1.1 of the NaomiDate Terms and Conditions (last updated February 25, 2026). Payments are collected by one or the other. The terms are governed by Cyprus law, and US users agree to individual arbitration with JAMS, waive class actions, and accept a liability cap of what they paid in the last six months or $100, whichever is greater.
Two warnings about the search results themselves. First, several domains that rank for this search, such as naomidate.net, naomi-date.org and thenaomidate.com, are not the official site: NaomiDate's own footer and social accounts point to naomidate.com. Second, two of the glowing reviews in the top results come from "mail order bride" websites, a kind of service NaomiDate's own terms (section 15.14) say it forbids.
How NaomiDate works
You cannot browse profiles as a guest. Registration is free and asks for your email, name, nickname, password, gender and date of birth, or you can sign in with Google, per section 3.1 of the terms. You must be 18 or older. Once your profile passes moderation (the terms say "a few minutes to several hours"), the terms and third-party reviews describe these tools:
- Search: reviewers describe filters by country, age range and who you are looking for, an online-now view and a lookup by name or ID.
- Like and wink: free signals of interest, per section 4.1 of the terms.
- Say Hello: a pre-written opening line you can send to a member, per reviewers' screenshots.
- Chat: live text chat, billed by the minute, with stickers, photos, audio and video messages billed per item (section 4.5).
- Letters: longer messages for members who are offline, billed per message.
Reviewers in the top results report no live video or voice calls, a big gap for a long-distance site, and nothing in the terms lists them. NaomiDate also says on its homepage that it is a place "where emotions thrive and friendships bloom", and its terms say content on the site is "for informational and entertainment purposes only".
Free vs paid: what NaomiDate costs
NaomiDate has no subscription. You buy credits and spend them on each action. Unusually for this kind of site, the per-action prices are written into section 4.5 of the terms (checked October 2026):

Prices checked October 2026. What a credit costs in dollars is not published: section 5.3 says package prices appear "during the payment process", after you sign up. Third-party reviews mention a discounted first package and about 20 free credits on sign-up, which I could not confirm at the source. The terms also say NaomiDate can change any price "without prior notice", make free features paid, and that the price on a feature's page wins over the list above.
To see how fast it adds up, take a 10-minute chat in which she sends you one photo and you reply with one sticker: 20 + 10 + 5 = 35 credits, for a single conversation. Notice that receiving photos, audio and video costs you too.
Other money rules worth knowing from the terms:
- You pay by card, Google Pay or Apple Pay, usually in US dollars. Gift cards, prepaid cards and scratch cards are not accepted, and your bank may add foreign transaction fees.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are forfeited if your account is terminated.
- A referral program gives 50 free credits to someone who joins through your link, and you get 10% of what they buy as free credits for a year.
Automatic Top-up: the setting to leave off
NaomiDate does not auto-renew a subscription, but it offers something that works the same way. According to its Automatic Top-up terms, if you switch on the toggle at checkout, your card is charged again, for the same number of credits and the same amount as your last purchase, every time your balance falls to 5 credits or fewer, "without additional per-transaction notice". On a per-minute chat, that can happen in the middle of a conversation. It stays on until you switch it off on the checkout page at payment.naomidate.com while logged in. If you buy credits at all, check that toggle every time.
Real profiles or scam? The Pro User system
The question most people type is whether NaomiDate profiles are real. The site's own documents give a more useful answer than any review in the top results. NaomiDate's Community Standards for Pro Users describe two kinds of members:
- Paying members buy credits to chat, write and share media.
- Pro Users have their identity "verified through government-issued documents", get a verified badge and "unlimited free messaging", and in exchange "cannot purchase Credits". The status is permanent.
So in a typical conversation, one side has been ID-checked and talks for free, and the other side pays by the minute and by the message. The same document bans Pro Users from asking for money, gift cards or crypto, and from selling their phone number, and says accounts sending over 100 messages a day or copy-pasted messages get flagged.
Three more things from NaomiDate's own pages make me cautious:
- Verification claims do not match. The homepage says "Every participant's profile undergoes a tough verification procedure". Section 15.5 of the terms says: "We do not verify user identities or actively monitor user activities." Section 3.4 says verification "may" happen "depending on traffic sources or other factors". Section 15.3 adds that NaomiDate is not liable for "the authenticity or reliability of user profiles".
- Restricted countries. Section 13.11 lists countries whose users "are not permitted to access or use the Website", and the list includes China, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Nepal, countries reviewers say many women on the site come from. I cannot tell from the outside how that is applied, but it is a question you should ask before paying to talk to someone who says she lives there.
- Promoted members. NaomiDate's official X account, linked from its footer, posts photos of named members with their ID numbers and an invitation to message them.
None of this proves a given profile is fake. It does mean the site earns from every minute you spend talking, does not promise that the person is who they say, and says so in writing.
NaomiDate dating site reviews: what members say
On Trustpilot, NaomiDate has a 1.3 TrustScore from 121 reviews (October 2026): 87% one-star and 2% five-star. The company claimed its page in April 2026 and has replied to 94% of negative reviews, mostly with the same message saying it cannot find the reviewer's account and asking them to email support. Recent reviews repeat the same points:
- Doubts about who is chatting: many say the women's profiles are scripted, automated or run by staff, and that messages poured in to profiles that were still empty.
- Cost: reviewers call it a "money pit", describe charges per chat and per item, and one says he spent more than $12,000 in two months.
- No way to meet: several say messages with contact details or locations get blocked, and one says exchanging contact information required spending 5,000 credits on that profile.
- Closing the account: at least one reviewer says it was hard to do.
On the BBB Scam Tracker, an Arizona user reported in August 2025 losing $200 after joining "in hopes of meeting an Asian woman" and being flooded by what they describe as fake, AI-generated profiles pushing them to buy more credits. Trustpilot and the BBB do not verify these accounts, and I could not either, but the pattern matches the business model described above. No Reddit thread made the top 10 for this search, so I have nothing from Reddit to report.
Safety: how to protect yourself
NaomiDate's terms describe a moderation team working 24/7 that reviews uploaded content "within 10 minutes", a "To Complain" link on profiles and in chat, and abuse reports by email that it investigates within one working day. Its Online Dispute Resolution page promises an answer within 7 days. What it does not do: verify ordinary members, monitor private chats, or act on anything that happens off the site.
On an international chat site, the warning signs from the FTC's romance scam guide apply in full:
- Never send money, gift cards or crypto to someone you have not met in person, whatever the emergency.
- Be wary of anyone who professes love fast, cannot meet, or keeps finding reasons not to video call.
- Reverse-search profile photos before you invest time or credits.
- Report fraud to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and, if you lost money online, to the FBI's IC3.
Can you get a refund from NaomiDate?
Very rarely in cash. NaomiDate's Payment & Refund Policy (updated July 25, 2026) says:
- Cash refunds: only for unauthorized payments made with your card, requested within 30 days of the payment, with proof.
- Credits back, not money: for technical errors, services not delivered (an undelivered letter, for example) or a message accidentally sent twice.
- Never refunded: "lack of mutual attraction", dissatisfaction with chats or media, and "discrepancies between user profiles and actual appearance".
- Deadlines: a request is reviewed within three business days, and if you do not answer support's questions within seven days, the claim is closed for good.
Section 5.13 of the terms adds a 14-day cancellation right for credits you have not spent. Before a chargeback, contact support first: the policy calls a chargeback without prior contact a "bad faith" action, and the terms say a dispute can get your account soft-blocked until you send a copy of your ID and a photo of your card.

How to delete your NaomiDate account
- Turn off Automatic Top-up first on the checkout page at payment.naomidate.com while logged in, so nothing is charged while you close the account.
- Use or claim your credits. Section 20.4 of the terms says closing your account brings no refund of earlier payments, and unused credits can be forfeited. If you bought credits in the last 14 days and have not spent them, ask about the cancellation right in the same email.
- Close the account in your account settings, or email support@naomidate.com from your registered address and ask for termination (section 13.3).
- Ask for your data to be erased. The privacy policy gives you a right to erasure, while noting some data is kept after deletion for legal, financial or dispute reasons. Keep the support reply as proof.
Accounts inactive for three months may also be deactivated automatically, but do not count on that to stop charges.
NaomiDate alternatives
