Juliette Review 2026: Legit or Waste of Money?

The “Juliette dating site” people search for is Juliettdate (juliettdate.com): a real, working chat platform run by a US company, so it is not a fake site, but it is a pay-per-message service, not a place built to help you meet someone in person. Sign-up is free, then mails, chat minutes, stickers and media cost credits whose prices are not published, and its own rules say the members you write to can be “Top Users” who use the site for free. I would not spend money on it if a real relationship is what you want.

My verdict: Legit company, long public terms and a real moderation setup, but the model charges you per minute and per message to talk with verified members who pay nothing, prices stay hidden until you are inside, contact details are blocked by default, and there is no app. Curious? Stay on the 20 free welcome credits and do not top up.

What the Juliette dating site is and who runs it

Juliettdate describes itself as a place to “find interesting connections, chat, send messages, or share photos and videos”, with a support team “here for you 24/7”, on its homepage. Google’s own summary calls it a platform for slow-paced, text- and media-based connections rather than fast swiping, and that matches the product: there is no swipe deck and no promise of dates, only chat and letters.

The company behind it is Bliskasoft Corp., 302 E. Carson Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, according to the footer of Juliettdate’s Safety Guides page (checked October 2026). The Juliettdate Terms of Use are governed by Delaware law, send disputes to individual arbitration with a class action waiver, and cap the company’s liability at what you paid or $100, whichever is greater. Juliettdate’s own December 2024 press release, though, carries a Tallinn, Estonia dateline, so the brand’s public address and its press office do not line up.

Three warnings about the search results for this name:

    • Lookalike domains are not the official site. thejuliettdate.com is a glowing “review” that sends you to sign up, and julietdate.com (one t) is an affiliate page whose logo is labeled SofiaDate and whose login button goes to a third-party domain. The real site is juliettdate.com, the address in its own terms and support emails.
    • Some claims on those pages are not in Juliettdate’s own documents, such as voice calls or “1M+ profiles”. I found no source for them on the official site.
    • Other “Juliettes” are unrelated: whoisjuliette.com is a New York laundry service and meetjuliette.com is an AI meeting assistant.

    How Juliettdate works

Registration asks for your email, username, password, gender and date of birth, or a Google account, and you must be 18 or older (Terms 2.1 and 2.2). The site’s FAQ for Newbies and Tools & Features guide describe these tools:

    • Search with an “extended search” option, and a People page that suggests Top Users you can like or skip.
    • Chats for short instant messages and Mails for longer letters.
    • Winks (free), follows and a Newsfeed of members’ photo posts.
    • Let’s Talk and Icebreakers: ready-made opening lines. The terms (7.3) say the same Icebreaker message can be sent to many randomly matched users, so a warm first message may not be personal.
    • Private photos on Top User profiles, visible only once the conversation has started.
    • Chat translation for “certain users”, generated by AI with no accuracy guarantee (Terms 7.1).
    • Drafts: unsent messages saved for 30 days, per the press release.

It runs in a web browser only. A search of the US App Store and Google Play in October 2026 found no Juliettdate app, so anything offered as a “Juliette dating app download” is not from the site.

Free vs paid: what Juliettdate costs

There is no subscription: the FAQ says subscriptions are “not generally available” and everything paid runs on credits. Prices for credit packages and for each action are only shown inside your account, not on a public page; the price link in section 4 of the terms points to a section that does not exist publicly. Here is what is free and what costs credits according to the terms, the Payment and Refund Policy and the FAQ (checked October 2026):

    FeatureFree or paid
    Sign-up, profile, search, People pageFree
    Winks, likes, followsFree
Newsfeed posts“Lots” free, per the FAQ
    Chat messagesPaid, billed per minute
    Mails (letters)Paid, per mail
    Stickers and virtual giftsPaid
Viewing profile videos, opening photos in mailsPaid
Welcome bonus20 free credits at sign-up

Prices checked October 2026: not published. A few rules worth knowing before you buy:

    • Chat Gems come as a bonus with credit packs: 1 gem equals 1 minute of chat, gems are spent before credits and cannot be refunded (policy section 3-A).
    • Payment is by card, Google Pay or PayPal; gift and prepaid cards are refused, and a failed payment is retried once automatically (3.1 and 3.3).
    • Juliettdate can change any price, or make a free feature paid, at its sole discretion (2.4).

Trustpilot reviewers echo the problem: one asks for a flat rate because the pricing is confusing, another says the trial credits ran out too fast to judge the site.

Top Users: who you are actually paying to talk to

This is the part none of the ranking pages explain. Juliettdate has two kinds of members. Its FAQ says ordinary “Users” use the platform for “content consumption” and “pay for some functions”, while “Top Users” apply through a separate form, meet requirements on identity, activity, communication and content, and “may use our platform for free”. Section 3 of the terms confirms that Top Users may use the paid features “free of charge, with or without limitations”.

So the set-up is lopsided: you pay per minute and per letter, and the person answering does not. That explains a Trustpilot complaint that women get free credits while men pay. The FAQ is also frank that “not all users aim for romantic relations”, some “seek attention or even online recognition”, and that it “cannot guarantee a specific outcome”. The same two-tier model runs on other sites I have reviewed, such as CupidFeel and MatchTruly.

Is Juliettdate a real dating site or a chat site?

It is a chat site with a dating theme. The rules make meeting hard by design:

    • Your profile may not contain a phone number, email or social media link (Terms 2.3).
    • You can ask for another member’s contact details only “subject to certain conditions”, which are not published, and only if that member agrees (Terms 7.1). The terms tell you to ask support for the conditions.
    • Juliettdate promises nothing about “the quality, duration, motivation of the Users” and says profile information may be false (Terms 7.1, 7.2 and 7.5).

Reviews in the top results reflect this. Some Trustpilot reviewers praise quick replies and easy chat; others say they paid for months without being able to exchange contacts, call the profiles fake or the chats AI-written, and one says paying for chats means talking to people he will never meet. A Reddit thread in the results is titled “Juliettdate is full of bots” (it could not be opened, so I only have the title). Nothing in Juliettdate’s rules says members are automated, but nothing in them lets you check who is on the other side either.

    Safety and verification

On paper, Juliettdate does more than many credit sites:

    • Top Users are ID-checked. Its page on how it prevents deception says Top Users send identification documents and, in most cases, a video holding the ID and reading a set text, and their content is pre-moderated. The FAQ adds that this is a “basic check of their name, age and appearance”.
    • Persona verification is optional for everyone and mandatory when the system suspects a minor, per the 2025 Transparency Report.
    • Moderation combines AI, a keyword filter and a Trust & Safety team of “over 50 professionals”, according to its page on how it enforces the rules.
    • Numbers it publishes: 7.15 million items reviewed in 2025 and 486,692 items and accounts actioned; 73% of rule breaches found were reported by users, and 52% of user reports led to a sanction (same report).

What it does not do: its page on how it prevents scams says it runs no criminal background checks and points US users to the National Sex Offender Public Website. Ordinary paying members are not verified unless they choose to be.

Practical rules: never send money or gift cards to anyone you meet there, whatever the story; the site’s own scam guide lists romance and advance-fee scams and says to stop talking and report the profile. Report through the Abuse report button or support@juliettdate.help with the user ID and screenshots, and report losses to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. The FTC’s page on romance scams explains the usual script.

What members say: Juliettdate complaints and reviews

On Trustpilot, Juliettdate scores 3.5 out of 5 from 125 reviews (October 2026), split sharply: 43% five-star and 34% one-star. The company claimed the profile in March 2024, invites customers to leave reviews, and answers almost every one, often pointing to support. Many five-star reviews are one line long. The recurring complaints are:

    • credit costs and confusing pricing;
    • profiles that seem fake or scripted, and suspicion that moderators write the chats;
    • contact exchange blocked after long paid conversations;
    • slow password resets, hard account recovery and an interface that freezes.

    Refunds and disputes

The Payment and Refund Policy says most purchases are non-refundable, with these exceptions (checked October 2026):

    • Unspent credits worth more than USD 20, if you bought them by mistake and ask within 3 days, or when your account is closed at your request.
    • Spent credits only if Juliettdate failed to provide the service, after a scam by another user, or for an unauthorized charge, reported within 30 days of finding out. Credits spent on someone who stopped replying are “unlikely” to be refunded.
    • Deadlines: 120 days after a card payment, 180 days after a PayPal payment; answer support’s questions within 7 days or the request is declined.
    • US state rights: some states let you cancel a purchase before midnight of the third business day.

Ask support first. Under Terms 10.2 and 10.3, a chargeback through your bank can get your account soft-blocked until you upload an ID and a photo of yourself with the card.

How to delete your Juliettdate account

    1. Spend or claim your credits. If your unspent balance is worth more than USD 20, ask for its refund in the same message.
    2. Email support@juliettdate.help from your registered address and ask for permanent termination; Terms 10.1 says that is how a user closes an account, temporarily or permanently.
    3. Ask for your data. The terms say a permanent block erases your profile data and that you can request a copy first. Privacy questions go to legal@juliettdate.com.
    4. Turn off emails in Profile, Settings, Notifications while you wait. There is no subscription to cancel, and an account inactive for 3 months can be closed by the site.

    Juliettdate alternatives

If you want an actual relationship, pick a site where you pay a flat subscription, can trade numbers when you are ready and can meet in person:

    • Match: a long-running serious-dating site with a large US pool. Rated 4 out of 5.
    • eHarmony: compatibility matching for people who want commitment. Rated 4 out of 5.

Elenadate, which shows up in related searches, is another credit-based international chat site. For the same model under other names, see my CupidFeel review and my BestDates review. For more options, browse my serious dating apps ranking or all my reviews.

    How I rate it

My 2 out of 5 is based on public pricing, features, safety tools, app store reputation and value, not on hands-on use. Value for money 1.5 (per-minute chat, paid letters, paid media in both directions, narrow refunds), safety and verification 2.5 (ID and video checks for Top Users, opt-in Persona checks, 50+ moderators and a transparency report, but no background checks and paying members unverified), evidence of an active user base 2 (no app, 125 Trustpilot reviews split between extremes, member numbers only in the company’s own report), features for its audience 2 (chat, mail, translation and drafts, but no published calls and contact exchange blocked by default), transparency 2 (a named company and detailed terms, but hidden prices, unpublished contact conditions and a Nevada address against an Estonia press release). Average 2.0.

    Frequently asked questions

Is the Juliette dating site legit?

Juliettdate is a real website run by Bliskasoft Corp. of Las Vegas, with public terms, a refund policy and a yearly transparency report. It is a pay-per-message chat platform rather than a site built for meeting in person, and its terms say Top Users can use paid features for free while you pay.

    Is Juliettdate free?

Sign-up, search, winks, likes and follows are free, and new users get 20 welcome credits. Chat is billed per minute, and mails, stickers, viewing profile videos and opening photos in mails all cost credits. Credit prices are only shown inside your account.

Is there a Juliette dating app?

No. A search of the US App Store and Google Play in October 2026 found no Juliettdate app; the site runs in a phone or desktop browser. Pages offering a free Juliette dating app download are not from the site.

Can you exchange contact details on Juliettdate?

Not freely. Profiles may not contain phone numbers, emails or social links, and the terms say you can request another member's contact details only under conditions that are not published and with that member's consent.

Which dating site is 100% free?

Juliettdate is not: talking to anyone costs credits after the 20 welcome credits. Mainstream sites such as Match and eHarmony let you create a profile and browse for free, with a flat subscription for full messaging instead of per-message charges.

How do I delete my Juliettdate account?

Email support@juliettdate.help from your registered address and ask for permanent termination, as section 10.1 of the terms describes. If your unspent credits are worth more than USD 20, ask for their refund in the same email.
