Even though the number of active users felt low, the site feels legit and it's been around for a number of years. I didn't get any immediate sketch vibes. The only weird thing was that it said I'd viewed 14 profiles when I hadn't looked at any.

The sign up process started off a bit rocky — there wasn't a clear "Join Now" button. Once I figured it out, the process was simple! Choose who you are and who you're seeking, enter age/location, email/username/password, sexual orientation/body type/role, headline and bio, then confirm email. After that, I was dropped onto the main feed!
What about search capabilities on BDSMdate?
As a free member, you can check out search but can't VIEW profiles. The advanced search had tons of options: sex/gender, role, distance, members with photos/videos, ethnicity, orientation, language, personality, and more. There's also a massive kink search directory!
What does a BDSM Date profile look like?
Profiles include photos/videos, interaction options like flirts and hotlisting, friends network, introduction, physical attributes, zodiac sign and personality type, kinks, groups, testimonials, and Q&A sections.

Overall, it felt legit and I enjoyed checking it out. The Hot or Not game is a huge plus! The users seem really into the scene, so you're dealing with people who know what they're doing. It took a bit to get messages but after a while I got some good convos going!
