SwapFinder claims to be the ‘world's hottest swinger site’. It’s not your typical dating site for finding love or your happy-ever-after so if that’s what you’re after, it’s not for you! I’d describe it as the ultimate home for adventurous couples (or singles) looking to add some sugar and spice to their bedroom affairs. A swing site does the legwork for open-minded singles even if you’re new! So let the games begin. Yay!

With over 40 million members (and counting), SwapFinder.com is undoubtedly your ultimate wing(wo)man when looking for swingers online. Most of the registered members are between 25-50 years, with a large number of users registered as couples.

When researching SwapFinder.com, I noticed they are affiliated with Alt.com and OutPersonals which I spent a lot of time on too. Some of the features are probably similar if you read those!

How does SwapFinder work?

SwapFinder works a lot like other casual dating sites. You create an account, spice up your profile and interact with the (hopefully!!) thousands of users near you.

Once you’re in, you can match with people in a few diff ways. You can,

• Use basic search, “kinks” search (if you’re looking for something in specific) or advanced search if you’re a paid member to find singles (if you’re a couple) or couples (if you’re single or part of a couple!)
• You can also play the “Hot or Not” game which is basically a swipe style game like a lot of other dating sites.
• Once you find someone you like, you can send them a flirt, hotlist them (which is a thumbs up if you’re playing the “Hot or Not” game), message them, or give them a tip/gift (with points).

There are also features for video chatting, and you can also interact with other members via chat rooms. Oh, and it gets better as Swap Finder supports live cams, meaning you can chat with your favorite broadcasters!

SwapFinder isn’t for the faint-hearted. Everyone on the platform is looking to fulfill their wildest fantasies, (myself included 🤭). You’ll stumble across NSFW content, which sorta makes SwapFinder the P*rnhub of hookup sites, lol. But I’m not new to this, considering some of the other dating sites I’ve been on!

Here’s a quick overview of the wildly notorious hookup site.

• Outdated layout; perhaps a bit too busy for first timers. But still a breeze to use once you get the hang of it.
• Mostly NSFW content, so you’re better off using it at home!

How to delete your SwapFinder account: Deleting your SwapFinder account is a walk in the park! Just click on your username at the top right section and choose My Account. Scroll down to Manage Account and click on Close Account. Voila.

Is SwapFinder.com free to use? Yes!! You can use SwapFinder without spending a dime. But a free account comes with limited perks, and you’ll likely get bored pretty fast.

Does SwapFinder have an app? Unfortunately, SwapFinder doesn’t come with an app. It promotes adult content, which isn’t suitable for viewing on the go anyway for most! There is a “mobile web” version tho which makes it easier to see on your phone.

Is SwapFinder only for couples? Hell to tha no! Anyone, and I mean anyone (regardless of sexuality) can join. Couples prefer swinging with couples on the platform, but there are thousands of active singles you can mingle with too (like me! Since I’m sadly not taken yet lol.)

Most SwapFinder reviews I stumbled upon before registering on the platform described it as inclusive. They were right, which made me thrilled to see!! You can either register as a single person, gay couple, group or trans.

Below are the sign up options the site offers.

• Couple (man/woman)
• Couple ( 2 men)
• Couple (2 women)
• Group
• TS/TG/TV

While you can select a single option as indicated on the above image, I opted for most of the categories – yes you can tick all boxes! I like to keep my options open, and I wanted to see what the site had to offer.

2. Then I provide birthdate, country and zip details

I like that SwapFinder.com’s sign up page has a simplistic interface that isn’t overwhelming. I just added my birthdate, country and zip details before proceeding to the next step. Although I didn’t know how many steps I had left, I felt motivated to continue as things were flowing smoothly at this point!

3. Now I add my email address, create a username and a strong password!

I guess SwapFinder preferred breaking their registration process into sections. I’m used to entering my email at the very beginning so this felt kinda backwards! I entered my email addy, chose a cute (but def spicy) user name, and password.

4. Next I provided more information about myself!

This step isn’t all that mandatory, as you can choose the ‘prefer not to say’ option. I was asked about my race (Native American, Asian, Black, Caucasian, Hispanic etc), body type (athletic, petite, BBW, average etc), sexual orientation (straight, gay, bi-sexual, bi-curious) and marital status (single, divorced, attached, widowed, separated).

I feel this step lengthens the registration process since it could be set up in my profile afterwards, but maybe they wanted to make sure I did it instead of forgetting later?

5. And even more about me!

Now we get to the good part (rubs my tiny- but able- hands). I honestly enjoyed this section as I get to share a bit of myself with the world. The intro should be catchy, but it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s more than 10 characters long.

There’s also an optional section, ‘tell others about yourself’. This is where I spilled the beans about my sexual preferences and fantasies.

You can click the ‘writing ideas’ button to get inspiration if you’re not as good with words as you are with your other body parts, LOL.

6. Account activation

Once I clicked done, I got redirected to my rather dull user dashboard. I saw a message notification that required me to verify my newly created account. An unverified account means that although you can view other profiles, your profile is inactive and other users can’t find you, so make sure you verify fast bbs!

I wasted no time and verified my account to jump in on the action!

The main feed was a tad bit too busy for my taste, with tons of buttons and photos scattered all over.

This wasn’t much of an issue though, as ‘busy’ is always good, right? Plus, I knew I’d understand how to navigate the site pretty quickly since it seems similar to some other dating sites like I mentioned earlier.

Anyway…navigating the website wasn’t rocket science. But neither was it the most attractive main feed I’ve stumbled upon recently!

One thing I loved about Swapfinder’s main feed is the how readily available these options were:

This put me firmly in control over profiles that appeared on my feed. There’s also a dedicated search button (more on this later) that makes finding users on the platform a breeze!

On the right side there’s a blog-like feature where other user’s post images and statuses, creating a feeling of community. Just don’t look too closely at what the post is in this screenshot LOL.

Before I get deeper in this Swapfinder review, it’s worth noting that the site promotes NSFW content. But you can update your preferences by clicking on the drop down button at the top right of the home page (on your user name)! BRB while I do that.

What are SwapFinder profiles like?

I loooove detailed profiles if the layout is clean and not overly cluttered! SwapFinder has pretty detailed profiles with a lot of extra stuff to fill out.

Once I clicked on a user’s profile, I could access details such as:

• Their actual profile (most are super-detailed with tons of personal info and preferences.)
• Details (sexual orientation, preferences, marital status, age, language etc.)
• Compatibility with me.
• User’s kinks.
• Whether or not they’re a Gold member.
• Their friends and top fans.

Almost all SwapFinder reviews applaud the site’s extensive search filters. And I wasn’t disappointed as I could easily fine tune my searches to narrow down profiles using filters like kink and geographical distance.

Creating a SwapFinder account is free! There’s a caveat, though, as a free account can only get you so far. I’d recommend upgrading to premium if you’re serious about matching with like-minded singles or couples on this dating app!

We all love freebies, I know I do! But is a free SwapFinder account enough to get you the goodies or will a premium one suffice? Let’s delve into my SwapFinder review of features.

Features for SwapFinder free account

You can do the following on SwapFinder without spending a dime:

• Use the basic search filter
• View profiles (but you can’t see full size versions of profile pics!)

Is a free SwapFinder account worth it? I was able to search around and find profiles with a free account. But viewing half-sized photos got monotonous after a while and I wanted a first-hand experience of what the site had to offer.

SwapFinder has a premium plan called Gold, which is available in three packages:

There’s no difference between these packages as they all come with similar features. You will, however, save more with the 12 month Gold plan. I felt more comfortable subscribing to the 1 month plan just to get a taste of the platform before deciding whether to go all in or not. Compared to other sites, like FriendFinder-x, it’s reasonable!!

There are a lot of positives about SwapFinder. Here are some of the main ones.

• Pricing falls in the middle compared to other dating sites. It’s reasonable!
• Easy sign up! It took me slightly around 5 minutes to have my account up and running.
• SwapFinder’s doors are open to everyone. I like that straight, fluid and members of the LGBTQ community are allowed to create accounts.
• Naughty pics and vids. It’s a hookup (swinger) site so when I wantedto see them, they were there!
• I could view live broadcasts and even broadcast my own shows if I wanted to. (spoiler: I didn’t)
• Profiles are well-detailed.
• The community feature allowed me to read blogs and chat with other members.
• I can easily change the advanced search filters to suit my preferences.
• Free accounts can view profiles and even enjoy some videos.
• I regularly check the what’s hot section to know who’s who on the app.

✖️What didn’t turn me on so much about SwapFinder.com

Nothing’s perfect in this world, except me. Kidding!! Here are some areas SwapFinder could improve on:

• Outdated interface. The main feed is hella overwhelming. Plus, the site looks like it’s straight from the 90s LOL. I didn’t mind this for sites where it was intentional, but pretty sure it’s just old.
• No app. Le sigh.
• Several fake profiles. Some profiles look suspicious while others look abandoned.
• Free profiles have limited features. You can’t send or reply to texts with a free account, or even view the full size profile pics!

Is SwapFinder legit for swingers?

👍Yes, but beware fake profiles

The site itself definitely seems legit! It’s been around the block for quite some time, has an extensive member base of active singles and couples, and has verification options. They seem to have all security requirements in place as far as secure payments, email verification etc.

The only thing I noticed is there did seem to be some fake profiles / bots – like, I got messages as soon as I signed up which just doesn’t seem normal. This is going to be more obvi to men, but since I scope out women too, it was apparent.

As far as finding couples, there are a TON of couples on here!! You’ll def be able to find someone to connect with whether you’re a single person or part of a couple.

Final thoughts on my SwapFinder review

If you ask me whether SwapFinder’s a yay or a nay, my answer would be a solid ‘YAY’. I signed up pretty fast and the tons of active profiles made it even more appealing. The one thing I did find kinda weird is I was getting messages from people AS SOON AS I signed up… some of them looked like fake profiles, so I’d say not everything is 100% legit when it comes to members here.

Aside from that, I loooved the detailed profiles. Most users are direct about their preferences, which makes it easier to determine whether or not we have similar tastes and interests. The interface is …ugh, tbh. Nothing to rave about, but I got used to it after a couple of days. Rumour has it the dev team is working on a massive overhaul but idk if it’ll happen.

Swap Finder’s a great place to cast your net wide into the sea of swingers, but a free account won’t be enough to get you far if you’re serious about it. I’d recommend subscribing to the 1 month Gold package to get a taste of the ‘plenty of fish’ in the sea. But if you’re hell-bent on getting a good deal, why not settle for the 12-month plan? Lastly, remember to set up an attractive profile. I’m talkin’ spicy photos and a detailed profile – trust me, it helps!
