Evermatch Review 2026: Legit or Waste of Money?

The Evermatch dating app is a real, working app from a Czech developer, not an outright scam, but I would not pay for it in October 2026. The free version is so loaded with ads that its most-upvoted Google Play reviews call it unusable, the paid plans are sold without published durations, and your profile can be shown on the same company’s sister apps. If you want a serious relationship app, you have better options, starting with my serious dating apps page.

My verdict: Legit company, weak value. Evermatch is big on Android (50M+ downloads) and rated 4.0 to 4.3 in the stores, but the complaints repeat the same three things: ads after nearly every tap, profiles that do not feel real, and support that blocks first and explains later. Try the free version if you are curious, keep your expectations low, and do not buy the Gold plan.

What is the Evermatch dating app, and who runs it?

Evermatch is a phone app sold as “Dating and Chat - Evermatch” on both stores. Its App Store listing describes it as an app “for people who are looking for the perfect partner for a serious relationship and settling down”. It is iPhone only on the Apple side (iOS 13 or later), rated 18+, first released in March 2020, and the latest version, 1.1.37, is dated June 16, 2026. On Android, the Google Play listing shows it has been live since December 14, 2019 and was last updated October 7, 2026.

The company behind it is FlintCast s.r.o. The Evermatch terms of use (last updated September 29, 2026) give its Czech registration number and a Prague address, and say Czech law governs the contract. The Evermatch website is a single page with download buttons: no company name, no prices, no help center. Support runs through an in-app chat and support@evermatch.me.

Evermatch’s sister apps: where your profile can show up

This is the part none of the download sites mention. FlintCast does not run one dating app, it runs a family of them. The Google Play developer page lists three apps under the Evermatch name: Dating and Chat - Evermatch, Dating and Chat - Maybe You, and Curvy Singles Dating. The developer contact email on the Play listing is a “flintcast.sweetmeet” address, the same company that publishes SweetMeet.

Section 5.6 of the terms goes further. It says profile data and content may appear on “Associated Platforms”, and names SweetMeet, EverMatch, Curvy, Maybe You, iHappy and Talkie Live, run either by the company or by partners. In plain English: the people who see your Evermatch profile are not only Evermatch users, and someone you meet on one of these apps may be on a shared pool of profiles. If you are joining several “different” apps to widen your search, check the developer name first, because they may all be the same pool.

    Who Evermatch is for

    • Might suit: someone who wants a free, questionnaire-style app for a serious relationship, does not mind ads, and is happy to meet people from many countries (the app is offered in 30 languages).
    • Skip it if: you want a busy local pool in a US city, a clean app without ads, real identity verification, or clear subscription terms before you pay.

    How matching and messaging work

The Play Store description lays out the flow:

    1. Create a detailed profile and answer questions about your personality, appearance, lifestyle, interests and outlook.
    2. Set what kind of partner and relationship you want.
    3. Browse profiles the app ranks by those compatibility factors, and like or skip them.
    4. When the interest is mutual, it is a match, and you can chat.

The website describes the same mechanic: you send likes, a match happens when both like each other, and you can report or block anyone. The terms add that Evermatch may offer optional AI features that suggest conversation starters or replies, and warn they may be inaccurate. What the listings do not describe is any distance or location filter, and one of the most-upvoted Play reviews (November 2020, 923 people found it helpful) complained that there was none. I could not confirm whether that has changed, so look for it in the filters before you invest time.

Is Evermatch free? What it costs in the US

Downloading, building a profile, liking and chatting with matches are free, paid for by ads. The developer has said so itself: replying to a Google Play review, Evermatch wrote that “you can send messages and see mutual sympathies for free” and that ads go away with VIP status. The paid subscription, per the App Store description, does three things: shows the list of people who liked you, removes the message limit and removes ads.

    In-app purchase (US App Store)Price
    VIP Benefits$6.99, $9.99, $14.99 or $27.99
    VIP Premium$14.99, $27.99 or $29.99
    Evermatch Premium$27.99
    Evermatch Gold$54.99
Google Play (all purchases)$0.99 to $194.99 per item

Prices checked October 2026 on the US App Store listing and the Google Play listing. Neither listing says how long each plan lasts (a week, a month, a year), and the description warns that “the price varies by country and may change without notice”, with the exact price shown only inside the app. An older version of the store description, still copied on download sites, quoted $6.99 per week. If the $6.99 plan is still weekly, that is about $30 a month, more than many larger apps charge.

Two rules before you tap “buy”. First, read the plan length on the payment screen, not the headline price. Second, the subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends, which is how both stores handle subscriptions.

    Ads in the free version

The free version is where Evermatch loses most people. The three reviews Google Play shows first are all about ads. One from June 2022, marked helpful by 1,887 people, says you get an ad after every navigation: switching tabs, swiping a profile. One from January 2025 (458 helpful votes) says the same and calls the app “not usable”. Evermatch’s reply to both was the same: “Unfortunately, we cannot refuse advertising,” otherwise messaging and matching would have to become fully paid. So expect ads, and plenty of them, unless you pay.

    Safety and verification

The App Store description promises that “all our candidates are carefully screened during the registration process” and that the app offers “only real profiles”. The company’s own legal pages do not back that up with a process. The website describes no identity or photo verification. The privacy policy lists identification data collected for verification, but ties verification to suspected misbehavior, not to every new member. The terms say the company “may, but has no obligation to, monitor” what members post.

What you do get: a report and block option on profiles, a promise in the terms to respond to reports within 24 hours, a ban on impersonation, spam, harassment and posting contact or banking details, and in-app support chat. That is the bare minimum for a dating app.

Because the pool is international and verification is thin, the FTC’s romance scam guide applies in full. Be wary of anyone who professes strong feelings fast, lives far away and cannot meet, pushes you to move to another messaging app, or asks for money, gift cards, wire transfers or crypto for any reason. Never send money to someone you have not met in person, reverse-image search their photos, video call before meeting, meet in a public place and tell a friend. Report a suspicious profile in the app and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Fake profiles and complaints: what the app stores show

On paper the ratings look fine: 4.0 stars from 182K reviews on Google Play and 4.3 from 5.2K ratings on the US App Store (October 2026). Look closer and the picture is mixed:

    • Smaller App Store countries rate it lower. In the storefronts that rank for this search, it scores 2.0 (4 ratings, Slovakia), 3.0 (22 ratings, Cyprus) and 3.9 (69 ratings, Morocco).
    • Copy-paste praise. Two 5-star US App Store reviews, posted two months apart in 2022 under different names, carry word-for-word the same text. That proves nothing on its own, but it does not help trust.
    • Bot allegations. A US App Store review dated May 8 (the year is not shown) and titled “FRAUDULENT” claims matches chat, flirt and even set up dates but never show up or share a number, and accuses the developer of running bots. That is one user’s claim, which I cannot verify, and the terms do not mention company-run profiles either way. An older Play review (2020) estimated that most profiles were fake and noted profiles listing phone numbers, which is a classic scam pattern.
    • Blocked without explanation. A 2022 App Store review says the account was blocked for “inappropriate behavior” after reporting a scammer; the developer’s reply pointed to an in-app support chat the user could no longer open. The terms let Evermatch suspend accounts without notice and without a refund.

    Privacy: who gets your data

The App Store privacy label says Evermatch may use your location, contact info, user content, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. The privacy policy (updated October 2, 2024) names the ad networks it works with (Facebook, Google AdMob, AppLovin, MyTarget, MoPub, UnityAds), its analytics tools (AppMetrica, AppsFlyer) and says data may be transferred to the United States, Russia and other countries. It also lists the profile fields it may collect, including finances, housing and education. Share only what you would be comfortable seeing on an ad-funded app.

    Evermatch pros and cons

    Pros

    • Free to like, match and chat, if you can live with the ads.
    • Questionnaire-based matching aimed at serious relationships.
    • Large install base on Android (50M+ downloads) and updated in October 2026.
    • Report and block tools, with a 24-hour response promise in the terms.

    Cons

    • Heavy ads in the free version; the developer says it will not cut them.
    • Plan lengths not published; ten US price points with overlapping names.
    • No real identity verification described, and recurring fake-profile complaints.
    • Profiles may appear on sister apps (SweetMeet, Maybe You, Curvy, iHappy, Talkie Live).
    • Tracking-heavy privacy label; Czech law governs disputes.

How to cancel Evermatch and delete your account

Deleting the app does not stop a subscription. Cancel first, through the store you paid with:

    • iPhone: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Evermatch, Cancel Subscription (Apple’s guide).
    • Android: Google Play app, profile icon, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Evermatch, Cancel (Google’s guide).

Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Then delete the account inside the app: per section 8.2 of the terms, log in, open Settings, then Application settings, and tap Delete Account. Evermatch keeps the profile for 30 days in case you change your mind, and messages you sent may stay visible to the people who got them. For a full erasure of your data, the privacy policy points to an email request to its privacy team. And only download Evermatch from the App Store or Google Play: the APK and “old version” files on download sites are not checked by either store.

    Evermatch alternatives for serious dating

If what you want is a relationship rather than an ad feed, these have live reviews on this site:

    • Hinge (4.5/5 in my review): the one I would try first for dating in a US city. Visit Hinge.
    • eHarmony (4/5): if a long compatibility questionnaire is what drew you to Evermatch, this is the established version of that idea.
    • OkCupid (4/5): question-based matching from a much larger company.
    • Match (4/5): a paid, relationship-minded site with a long track record.
    • Boo (3.5/5): personality-type matching, for people who like the questionnaire approach.

Looking for something more specific? I keep separate lists of senior dating sites for older daters and fitness dating sites for active singles.

    How I rate it

I give Evermatch 2.5 out of 5. The rating is based on public information, not hands-on use: the prices and subscription terms on its App Store and Google Play listings, the features and safety tools described in its listings, terms and privacy policy, its app store reputation (ratings and the most-upvoted reviews), and value for money, all checked in October 2026. Scores: value for money 2.5, safety and verification 2, evidence of an active user base 3.5, features for its audience 2.5, transparency (pricing, renewal, cancellation) 2.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Evermatch free?

Yes, you can download it, like profiles, match and chat for free, paid for by ads. A subscription removes ads, shows who liked you and lifts the message limit. US App Store prices run from $6.99 to $54.99 in October 2026, and the plan lengths are only shown inside the app.

    Is Evermatch legit or fake?

Evermatch is a real app run by FlintCast s.r.o., a company registered in Prague, with 50M+ downloads on Google Play. It is not a pay-per-message scam, but reviewers repeatedly report profiles that seem fake, and the company describes no identity verification for new members. Use it with the usual romance-scam precautions.

Who owns the Evermatch dating app?

FlintCast s.r.o., a Czech company. Its terms say profiles may also appear on associated apps such as SweetMeet, Maybe You, Curvy, iHappy and Talkie Live.

How do I delete my Evermatch account?

First cancel any subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings, since deleting the app does not stop billing. Then in the app open Settings, then Application settings, and tap Delete Account. Evermatch keeps the profile for 30 days in case you want to restore it.

What dating app is 100% free to use?

Very few are fully free: most, Evermatch included, are free to join and chat but charge for extras or show ads. Read each app's in-app purchase list on its App Store or Google Play page before you sign up, so you know what the free version leaves out.

What is the 333 rule in dating apps?

It is dating slang, not a rule from any app, and people use it in different ways. The version you see most often splits a new relationship into checkpoints at three dates, three weeks and three months, to decide whether to keep going. It has nothing to do with how Evermatch works.
