BeNaughty Review: Is BeNaughty Legit in 2024?

the BeNaughty.com dating website is meant to be a place where singles can meet up and plan a good time, which is exactly what I’m looking for. But is everything as it seems? How are the features? I went through the entire registration process to look more deeply at BeNaughty and scope out what it offers users for free and paid subscriptions.

If you’re looking for the skinny, here are some quick thoughts:

• This fits the bill for all types of users but is definitely focused on flings. You likely won’t find long-term love or your true boo here.
• It’s a great place to find a hookup if you’re traveling thanks to availability in other countries.
• There may be a high instance of fake profiles, so tread lightly ladies.
• BeNaughty doesn’t feel as trustworthy as some of the other sites. Even with Ashley Madison having leaks in the past, they appear to have made strides to improve on those issues. BeNaughty looks like it’s part of a bigger web of sites across different countries, so I’m unsure how safe our personal info is.
• There are a lot of fun features that make connecting easier, like the ability to video chat and use FlirtCast (which I’ll talk about in a bit).

Pausing/Canceling Your Account: If you have a free or paid account, you’ll be able to do this easily from settings.

How Do I Delete BeNaughty Account? If you delete the app, you’re still subscribed. Make sure to go through the proper process if you want a full BeNaughty cancellation, which involves going to your account management settings, and walking through the “remove account” flow. They’ll confirm what you want removed, why you want to remove your account, and additional confirmation on your end. Despite some other reviews (or maybe, older reviews) saying you had to contact them directly or send snail mail, it’s pretty simple to cancel BeNaughty.

Are Accounts Verified? There is the opportunity to be a verified account through photo verification, which helps with some fake/dummy profiles.

Is There a BeNaughty Trial? Yep. There’s a trial if you want to check out some of the features before committing (and isn’t that just an analogy for all dating websites?)

Can I Just Register With Email? Yes! Much like Heated Affairs, you can just use email which helps keep things discrete. Also, who uses Facebook anymore…?

Will People Know I’m Peeping Their Profile? They might, but there’s incognito mode that can help you lurk in peace.

The homepage has a lot of spicy imagery and multiple areas of information about what BeNaughty offers. They claim to have millions of registered users and use language focused on singles in the United States.

If you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see some of the most popular pages if you want a little help with quick filtering. These change depending on what’s “trending” but I saw things like what’s below:

Process to Register & Create a BeNaughty Account

So let’s start with what the sign up process is like. Registering for BeNaughty.com is relatively straightforward without a lot of hoops to jump through.

Registering is free and simple. You select:

• Who you are and what you’re looking for from a dropdown box allowing Women Seeking Men, Man Seeking Women, Man Seeking Men, and Woman Seeking Women.
• Your age
• Email address & password
• Zip code (so you’re matched with local hotties)

And that’s all it takes! Pretty painless and simple.

So what happens once you’re in? Once you’ve started your BeNaughty.com registration, you’re taken to the main screen where a pop-up window requires you to verify your email address before using the platform. Be sure to check your spam folder, as my confirmation email was not delivered to the normal inbox (which is kind of a red flag to me).

After grabbing the 4-digit verification code, you’re brought to the main page of the BeNaughty dating website.

From there, you’re immediately shown connections that might fit the bill of what you’re looking for!

BeNaughty Features

Once you’re logged into the main part of the BeNaughty dating website, all users will have a search bar to personalize what you’re looking for, like sex, age, location, and even body type! You can also choose to see featured profiles filtered to All Members, Online Now, and New Members. The feed of featured profiles has a continuous scroll, so more load as you continue to scroll toward the bottom.

Oh, and let's not forget the cherry on top: you can sort 'em based on popularity, age, distance, last activity, newbies, or who's currently online. So. Much. Control!

Some features worth noting:

Hot or Not: Remember the old website ‘Hot or Not’? Depending on your age range you may not. BeNaughty.com also features a sort of “hot or not” way to match with other users so depending on the level of physical attraction you’re seeking, this can come in handy. I was pleasantly surprised by who showed up when I cruised through it.

“Like” Gallery: By clicking on “Like Gallery” you’re able to see profiles one at a time. This feature feels very similar to social media, making it intuitive. To “like” them, click the heart button. If they’re not your cup of tea, there’s an “X” button, as well. This feature of BeNaughty.com is similar to a “swipe right/swipe left” matching system of other popular dating apps like Tinder.

FlirtCast: This allowed me to filter a group of profiles depending on their criteria (location, different preferences, etc) and then send out a group message rather than individually messaging them. It also created some message variations to flip through and use.

Webcam Chat Feature: This was pretty cool because it felt like it added a layer of safety. Obviously nothing is 100% fool proof, but being able to see who I was connected with felt one step further than simply text chatting and hoping it wasn’t an A/S/L catfish.

Safe Mode: There’s basic and full safe mode which helps block messages from accounts flagged as suspicious for basic mode, which is on by default, and full safe mode (must be verified) will ensure only verified profiles can connect with you.

Free vs. Paid Features of BeNaughty

Like a lot of the other dating platforms I’ve tried, there’s a number of free features so you can explore and get a sense of who you can match with before deciding whether to pony up for a paid account.

The free features are a tab bit limited compared to some of the other sites. You’ll be able to make an account, upload your photos, search and like profiles, and – depending on gender – send up to 5 or unlimited messages.

• Like Profiles & Like Gallery: You’ll be able to like profiles and store them in your “like” gallery for quick reference. I tend to go on quick and save profiles for later, so this was perfect for me.
• Messaging: Women get unlimited messaging – great for us. Men can sign up and are a bit more limited, with only being able to have 5 free chats/messages per day.
• FlirtCast: As I mentioned above, this is a great way to cast a line out there to multiple people.

Paid Features of BeNaughty.co

The BeNaughty dating website also offers a subscription model to increase available features. To access these options, click the green “Get Extra!” button at the top right of the page or the “Upgrade Now” button at the bottom. These subscriptions are listed at a “per day” price and available in three different tiers: Extra Benefits, Chataholic, and Premium Dater.

• Extra Benefits: ($0.45/day) The cheapest of the paid BeNaughty.com subscriptions. This level adds Premium Support, Browse Incognito, and Auto History Cleaning to your account.
• Chataholic: ($0.64/day) The middle-tier option for BeNaughty paid accounts. The website lists features of this tier as Top in Messenger, Higher in Search, Get Read Receipts, Get Seen by 5x More People.
• Premium Dater: ($0.95/day) The most expensive of the paid BeNaughty.com subscriptions. It’s labeled as “All Inclusive” and combines all the features of the other two tiers.

You can also access a trial (!) in case you’re curious about the free features but don’t want to pony up for a full paid account.

Is There a BeNaughty App?

We love a dating site that has an app so we can connect on the go. Many of today’s dating sites have gone mobile, so is there a BeNaughty app?

The answer: Um, sort of? There’s one for Android but not iOS as far as I could see.

The main way to access the BeNaughty.com platform is on the desktop site, and there’s an app on the Google Play store also. I found an iOS app with the same name, however I didn’t recognize the developer name, and I didn’t want to download the app because even when researching, I wasn’t able to find if it was legit or not.

So Android users: you’re golden.

iPhone users: I would stick to the site unless you’re willing to download the app of the same name and see if it’s legit in the iOS store.

Is BeNaughty Legit?

One of the biggest problems facing anybody on a dating site is fake users or bot profiles. A lot of dating sites ride the line between “legit” and “possibly sketchier than usual” because it’s incredibly hard to verify users and, on sites like this, people may not want their identity easily seen. However, a quick Google search for BeNaughty.com reveals some of the most common searches involve “BeNaughty.com scam” and negative reviews of people feeling defrauded via payment, fake users, or mishandling personal information such as an email address.

There was also a Snopes investigation so I went into this with eyes wide open, aware of anything that may compromise safety or privacy, and that they may be part of an interconnected network.

As far as fake profiles, this becomes much less of a concern if you’re using Full Safe Mode and only connecting with verified accounts, however. So if you’re casually dipping your feet in, stay away from the blank profiles.

Overall, I found that you can navigate safely as long as you’re mindful of who you’re connecting with. I would still be careful when on the site, however.

Pros and Cons of BeNaughty

As with any dating site, BeNaughty.com has its pros and cons:

Pros & What I Liked

• Free and easy sign-up process
• There’s a handy “site admin” chat that pops up as you’re navigating to help you along.
• Straightforward user interface
• “Hot or not” style matching system
• Easy way to upgrade to paid subscriptions
• Icebreaker questions, which comes in handy if you’re unsure how to start conversations or are looking for chats beyond “surface level.”
• Ability to video chat! This was a biggie for me

Cons & What I Could Have Done Without

• There may not be a verified iOS app (sorry, blue chat bubble baddies. Looks like the green chat bubbles have one over you this time.)
• Minimal filtering compared to some other dating sites. This could be refreshing to you, but I prefer to get down, dirty and flirty when I have a lot of options to qualify others with.
• There seems to be a fake profile or “dead” profile issue.
• Since men with a free account can only send 5 messages per day, it makes the ratio feel a bit off balance.

Best BeNaughty Features, IMO

From what I used on there, these were the stand-out features as compared to other platforms:

• Webcam Chat Feature: Remember the movie Missing, and how the mom would start video chats with the guy she met on the dating app? This is just like that.
• FlirtCast: Ya girl is busy and I know you are too. This feature isn’t on every dating site and was much appreciated.
• Basic & Full Safe Mode: Basic safe mode will help filter out those who have been flagged for sus behavior, and full safe mode will make it so you can only be contacted by verified members.

So, Final Thoughts on BeNaughty?

What do I think about my experience on BeNaughty? It claims to have millions of monthly users, but seeing the questionable profiles plus so many negative BeNaughty reviews had me thinking twice about it. It seems they’re doing a lot to encourage verified profiles and prevent spam, so I’d say it’s worth exploring.

I managed to make a few connections on there that seemed promising, but I was also vigilant about not connecting with any account that seemed the least bit sketchy.

What BeNaughty has going for it is a simple-to-use site with a free, easy sign-up process and multiple ways to match with other users. I really loved the simplicity of the site itself!

There are lots of dating sites out there. From serious dating to casual hookups, there’s something for everyone. BeNaughty makes it easy to connect with others and fairly easy to filter out bots, so I say give it a shot.
